take a week off, and you should be taking 3-6-9 regardless

Change your exercises. The skull crushers are super hard on the elbows and lots of PLers will drop them for awhile. You can Tate presses, which although similar, are way lgher and less elbow pain.

Skull crushers are pretty harsh on the elbows, but I find if you take your time and do 1-2 warmup sets with light weight, you can avoid a lot of the pain.

I use Omega 369 and Glucosamine,it does seem to work a bit.

Try the skull crushers with dumbells.

I have the same problem, more so in my left elbow. I had to drop skullcrushers too, and sometimes I'll wear a tensor band on my arm while I lift which seems to help me out a lot. Omega 369 is great too, but probably won't completely solve the problem. Rest will, but last you want to do is take 2 weeks to a month off during a cycle :P

Try a stonger antiinflamitory like naproxen for about 4-5 days. It helps with inflamation at the joints. It's like advil on steroids and you're on steroids so this might be a match.

I am going through the same problem right now in my right elbow. I was already treating bicep tendon inflammation (L) shoulder with physio so i had my (r) elbow looked at. Same problem tendon inflammation in the joint. Only true cure rest, ice, or change of workout. Frustrating to work around.

I'll just echo the others... skull krushers = elbow death

a week off in the middle of a cycle will not hurt. On longer cycles..say 20 weeks? I will take two to three 1 week breaks

Yeah but skull crushers = huge triceps too

Had the same problem....the only thing that helped was ice, Motrin and time off...

As far as skull-crushers go, i do them on an incline bench and find that it takes a lot of the direct pressure off the elbow joints...

I haven't been able to do heavy skull crushers for a couple years now, on or off cycle, the pain just returns. I changed to JM Presses, look up videos on youtube, once you get your own groove it is usually pretty good on the tris without much joint pain. It's a half press, half extension type movement.

My 2 cents. Don't try to work through tendonosis. It's really not worth the chronic pain and crappy work outs. I spent the better part of a couple of years unwinding self inflicted tendon injuries.

x2 I had very bad tendinitis in my elbows and since switching to an incline ( about a year ago ) I have never had a issue since. The incline helps a great deal at keeping the pressure on the middle and "meat" of the triceps instead of the elbow

Lol... I had to stop doing skullcrushers too because they ****ed up my elbows... especially when i was on winnie and test cycle. Zomg... My right elbow is hurty permanently right now, so ive started using Glucosamine before my next cycle. I advise you to do couple warmup reps before hitting triceps... Do EZ bar triceps extention ( pulley) low weight high reps. It really helps!

you may want to try naproxen. It is a great nsaid but has a way of causing GI upset in some people. It would take down the inflamation and give a chance for your body to heal. Tendon = poor vascularization = long healing times = take it easy for a while
