Has anyone ever tried these? Looks pretty simple to set up.

What does that chip do? I have a wii but beyond that I am clueless

cool....let me know if it works.....
how hard is it to 'backup' the wii games? do you just download the torrent and burn to DVD?

dont buy the chip. Just look up your local newspaper in the ads section, some guy will install it for you. Some even guarantee their work

Exactly, I have a Modded Wii (including Backups) and a Modded Xbox 360. Just make sure you buy a fan for it..

The only problem I have with it is that it voids your warranty... Otherwise I'd get mine modded for sure.

With the chip you can download all the games you want and just throw them on an SD card.

OK.. then.. what are your guys thought on a "Soft Mod" that you can download ???
