I have always heard people say to put a vial in the micro for 10 seconds prior to loading... Blah blah blah...

Well I have always used water but tried microwave this time, and after 6 seconds in the box of death, i saw a bright light, opened it up and my tren e turned into a vial of black glooo

Dont use the microwave!!!

Man that sucks. My instinct was always against the microwave method of heating up gear.

I have said all along... why bother. Hot water is only ever going to get the gear as hot as the water. A microwave? 300-400-600??? degrees who knows. You have no control

I think the metal on the vial top would react to the micro. Like any other metal. I would stick with hot water. You dont need your gear to be molten lava before you use it.

it helps reduce injection pain, you should try it.. i always do..

never use a microwave, sorry that you had to learn the hard way, i always tell guys to just use water..

also i think the tops of vials are aluminum not metal.

Dang!! such a bad story :(

I have never used the microwave, despite what hundreds of people say on some sites.
HAWT water all the way!

Introduce a niddle on the top, to allow pressure release ;)

just fyi, i always heat the gear after its inside the syringe.. not in the actual vial.. i see no sense in ruining my pretty labels lol

X2.. I find this is the best way to keep the gear warm. If you heat the bottle, then get ready to swipe, draw, change needle, swipe again, poke.. The gear has gone cold again. In the syringe under the hot water tap for 45 seconds or so

.... or alternately you coud insert the capped syringe in your rectum.

warm water works just fine for me however.

That`s exactly what I thought when putting my beautiful SAL label in the bowl to draw out the oil.

most modern microwaves can take metal as long as it does not touch the sides
