I only have one shake a day because I am able to eat all of the food protien I need. I have 1 post workout shake a day and I am usually eating a chicken breast or can of tuna with it. I have always used ISO. My question is should I use ISO whey Or Regular Protein concentrate? or it probably doesnt make one bit of difference?

Your question makes no sense. Please re-phrase it.

ISO protien or the other stuff? By ISO I mean Isolate.

Stick with the isolate, mate. Post-workout, isolate is taken in faster and more efficently (Iso > 100 on the Biological Value chart).

Iso mixes better and takes better, but as for muscle result no difference.
Lots of whey is load with cards now,so look out for it,plus if your lactose then whey isn't the whey to go.

This is exactly what I was told, as am lactose intolerance. I bought the GNC iso burst vanilla flavour and it mixes really good.

I have a question, should someone trying to lose weight ( cutting ) be using the protein ? I ask because this is my mission, and since I don't get much protein in my food daily, I figured I'll take the shake

Please advise

PS: I read this about whey protein online somewhere

Whey Protein

It would take an entire article (which I may write later) just to list all the health and fitness benefits of whey protein powder. For now, just know this: whey protein has been proven to be one of the most powerful and effective health-boosting substances you can eat. Besides being one of the world's best sources of muscle-building protein, there is evidence that whey can boost the immune system and help keep you healthy even when dieting, cutting calories, and working out frequently. Due to the wide array of powerful bioactive compounds contained in whey protein, eating it frequently can help you burn more calories, boost your protein intake without boosting fat intake, stabilize blood sugar and insulin levels, and control hunger and food cravings. As you may already know, all of these things are ultra-important when trying to lose belly fat.

As an added bonus, recent research has shown that the amino acid leucine (which is found in abundance in whey protein) helps to improve body composition... which means that it helps you keep your lean muscle tissue while burning more body fat at the same time. The bottom line is that whey protein is a very effective, widely available, relatively inexpensive, good tasting food supplement that you can use to improve your health, get rid of abdominal fat, and keep or increase muscle tissue... all of which adds up to a leaner, better-looking body in less time!

Has there been an IQ testing question added to the registration form for these forums that's denying anyone at least moderately intelligent from signing up?

I used to hear this all the time when I was sellling products. People had a hard time believing whey was necessary because it`s only needed for "bulking right?"

Most women think that way. They are wrong.

Yes, you can use whey to lose weight.

I also think a skill testing question should be added to new members who are signing up, as of late there has been some really dumb posts... (mostly mine i geuss) LOL.

What was this thread about again...

But we`re here to learn so in a sense I`m hesitant to make people feel bad for posting questions. What I would like to hear is something like " I searched the site here`s what I know, what do you think? Instead of people sometimes asking to be spoon fed programs for nutrition and training.

Instead of people sometimes asking to be spoon fed programs for nutrition and training.

What is the big farce about that? Obviously the reason why people ask and that includes myself is because we need "expert" advice from people that have been there, done that as the case may be.
