So I decide to do the yardwork this weekend and go out to get some weed and feed. The same stuff they have been selling for generations. I am told that it no longer is sold in Ontario as Ontario has passed a law banning weed killer. WTF??????? I just sodded my yards 2 years back and the cost was not cheap. Had I known I could not keep the weeds in check I might as well have seeded my yards with weeds and saved the $. Freekin' Morons.

So I decide I am not going to let my investment go to waste and decide I will take a drive to Quebec to get supplies. Quebec has also passed the same moronic law. Frick.

This environmental crap has gotten out of hand. After a quick Google I find that there is no medical studies that have proven a link between weed killer and any illness. Maybe they should target things they know actually cause health issues like tobacco, alcohol, junk food....I digress. Morons.

So, if anyone in or out of Ontario can get their hands on weed killer and can get it to me .....LIST ME.:)

EDIT: Found a place on Ebay that will send the product. They are sending from the USA. QUESTION: Because it is clearing Canadian Customs will this be held up due to a provincial law?

I've found that the best way to keep weeds out of my yard is to killex the neighbours lawn. The sob refuses to do anything about chinch bugs, voles, and dandelions and every year I pay the price. I'm like a buffer zone and I get very tired of it.

I hear you. My neighbor is the same way. He hasn't even cut his grass yet this year. I share a front lawn with him, so it looks pretty stupid when my lawn is nice and trim and his is a foot high covered in weeds.

UPDATE....
I ordered 6 quarts through the US and they made it through customs. I should be receiving the shipment today. It was probably double what I would have paid here before the ban but it is worth it. I suspect I will only need one bottle a year. That works out to $20\year to keep the weeds from overtaking my lawn.

P.S. Bite me McGuinty

The weeds must die, no matter what the cost, the weeds must die.

Im glad the shit is banned. I don't believe in it. It poisons birds, children and our lakes and besides
that, I like dandylions (they are indeed the friendliest of all the lions).

If I noticed my neighbor using it , I'd go out of my way to help my dandy lions flourish. Perhaps some 15-50-5 fertlizer to help them blossom... 'fly my pretties... fly Muwhahahaa'

^^^^I like the cowardly lion myself. He is kinda shy but he is a real joker once you get to know him.
