My gym rant

So I get off at 10:00, and my gym is less than 5 mins away right? perfect for me as the hours are till 10:30, I get there, and see a few cars, and I can see a few people doin cardio upstairs, go to the front door and its locked!!, I go what the **** what are the hours now til 10:00 pm? I check the sign again it says 6:00 - 10:30 so I rap on the door, wait, nothing, so I wander over to another window to look in, nobody, I wander back, rap on the door somemore this time with a more flavour, wait nothing! then here somthing at the side door so I wander over there, nobody there, then I hear something at the front door ****! me I return doors are locked nobodys HOME, **** this I drive off, now Im pissed its about 10:10 now, So I decide **** it im goin back and im gonna rip the door off the hinges, so I come back reef on the door and wait a moment and then I explode I turn around and toss my gym bag at my car screaming **** IT ALL! I hit my car In the parking lot 40 feet away(not a good idea mind you) as Im getting into my car I see somegirl finally opening up the door and peering outside, so Im halfway out of my car now screaming at her "THANKS A ****ing LOT, business hours are till 10:30 NO?!!" She mumbles something then I return with "Why are you closed a 5 after!!" And she says and this is what pisses me off the most instead of saying Im sorry she says "well, the doors werent closed at five after..." Wholly **** that rips me, Im thinking of pulling my membership. Thanks for listening

Same shit used to happen to me at World Gym in Woodbridge (the old one, no gone). The young **** head would close it down for "inclement weather" and it was 24 hrs. So she would close at 10ish is it would snow. I complianed but the owner didn't care.

Are you sure the weight floor doesn't close at 10pm and the building closes at 10:30?

damn id be pissed i know how you feel i have a routine to get ready for the gym and if its closed when i get there (my fault i didnt read the sign) and cant workout i get major pent up energy issues and go bust out pushups at home till i drop otherwise i cant sleep at all.

For sure this should be good for a free month or something from the owner. If this is the best/only option you have in the area Im sure word would spread fast about what bogus hours they keep and hed be in the middle of a major shitstorm with his customers before too long. Set an appointment, let him know how frustrated and pissed you are and ask for compensation in free months. If he's not a total moron hell elct to keep you happy

What kind of workout are you planning on getting in in 20 minutes? I mean since you are such a stickler for time I am sure that you have never caused the gym workers to stay late. So you get in, change do your workout change again and leave before 10:30? That would be a lame workout.

Its been 5 months and yes, I have since cooled off, I did talk to the manager and I guess there was a bunch of people screwin around and leaving at 5 and ten after closing time. Oh well things have changed alot for me since then and the closing time isnt such a factor anymore thankfully.
