dont get me wrong sidney is a awesome hockey player, hes just a whiner like gretzky. ovechkin plays a better game overall

reminds me of a game 7 between pens and minnesto many many moons ago. built up and the pens nlew the stars out 7-0!!

Im a caps Fan and I switched the chanel over to the blue jays game. LOL
what a way to go, just get slaughterd by Crosby and crew, god I hate Crosby and I dont really even know why?

NO one has a reason to hate Crosby. They claim he is a whiner... funny I remember Mario being a bigger whiner - dude retired because his cry baby antics didn't get the game changes he wanted but her, let's target Crosby as such a huge whiner.

I'd love to see where Gretzky was a whiner. He didn't need to whine. He had protection throughout his career so what reason did he have to whine?

Wayne from my home town. Wally coached me. I grew up watching as many games as I could but you're right... I didn't get to watch a ton of them. And yes I am a biased Gretzky fan :)

Mario was a bigger whiner. Never seen anyone retire because the powers that be wouldn't change the game in favour of his playing style.

Long ago I watched Don Cherry saying something to the effect that Mario didn't have the protection that Gretzky did also getting your head handed to you on a platter if you ****ed with the Gretz..I remember seeing Mario play hockey like a ****ing man, playing in the corners ,roughing it up , even fights I don't remember too many tough guy hockey moments for the Gretz..Mario was Magical Gretz was great but not as good as Mario ,the Gretz was weasel on the ice..

O.V is a great player plays hard all game. Cindy Crosby on the other hand shows up when he wants to yes he crys alot scared to get hit good player in the other teams end but doesnt play a team game great he think other guys on his team should do the dirty work. mario on the other hand whined all the time but got his hands dirty too. For the great one he played the same way cindy does but the game was toucher back then and you need a tough guy to protect a guy like him..

I have been a Pens fan for years, back when Mario was a kid in 85. I have seen some good years and bad. All I can say is GO PENS GO. I look forward to the Pens sticking to the Wings in the final and Hossa can cry over picking the wrong team to sign up to win the cup with
