If you are trying to cut cost down then blackberry is NOT a choice.
Considering the features that you would want to add on a new package, even 50 bucks is not possible.
A plan on a term will cost you 35 bucks, then add unlimited net access, and texts, you have another 15 or more, plus monthly standards fees...blah blah blah...you have got 60 bucks or so.

We need plab B: The essentials?? What are those bro? A line, texts? voice mail? ____that will cost you less than 50 bucks (without net)

Get a local incoming unlimited plan and then use another company for unlimited outgoing. The way it works is you call the company and hang up after a second. The company automatically calls you back with a dial tone. Since it's in incoming call, it's unlimited. Then they give you a dial tone and you call out through their line and it becomes an unlimited outgoing call. It's saved me hundreds already. Cost about 10 bucks a month.

If you can type on it, absolutely. I type too fast for the touch screen so I stick to the curve. With the storm, you need to press the letter and release your thumb before pressing on the next. I have a tendency to be pressing one while starting to press the next. I have to severely slow down to do it.

I have the Bold myself and LOVE IT!! If the Storm comes to Rogers this Christmas, then I might get it. If not, I'll get the Iphone. Some dude was bragging that the Iphone has a app that allowed him to watch The Masters from the 8th hole live! lol. LOOOSER! But I want it anyways.
