I applaud these Tamils for drawing attention to their casue, but now they have pissed off all the commuters and are now holding the city hostage by stating that they have no intention of moving until a governement minister comes to speak to them directly.
How many of these people are abusing the system; wellfare, probably not legally landed citizens. Didn't Canada sent money, 3 million, to help out with medical and food to the Sri Lanka people? They sent a Canadian minister to Sri Lanka to state that the killings will not be tolerated.

Personally, and I may be ignorant because I don't know or care about the situation. It is a different country that does not involve Canada. So let them fight their own battles. We are one of the few cultures that have to accept everybodies else's culture when we travel and when they come here we acept them, their beliefs, their religion with open arms.
