My poor mother ..My father passed away a few months ago laying beside my mother in bed and today being mothers day her best friend and loyal companion her dog butch was killed by a motorcycle racing down the ****ing street...My sister goes to my moms house to wish her a happy mothers day and see's it happen right before her eyes ....Its is a gut wrenching feeling too see my mother in this state and to have Butch taken away from her like this today...very ****ing sad ...the worst mothers day ever.....

Sorry to hear that bro. Only thing you can do is be there for her, spend time with her, phone her often. Time will eventually help heal the wounds. Life is never easy, but it is a lot easier when family and friends are there for a person.

But to all those blaming the biker and saying he's at fault :o We dont know the real story so leave it at that. I hate to say it but the dog endangered the BIKERS life. If a dog is able to run freely in front of a vehicle (doesnt matter if its a car or bike), its the owners responsibility for having it leashed up (even if its on your own property). Its sad that the dog got the short end of the stick, but the biker could have been seriously injured. You try jumping out of ur car at 40kmh. In court, if the biker was injured or his property was damaged, guess who is liable?

Again, sincerely sorry about the incident.
