shoulder injection

I just injected into my shoulder and when I pulled the needle out blood squirted out. Does this mean I injected into a vein? If yes did I just waist a shot?

Next time let it sit for a minute then pull it slowly. Make sure you aspirate to ensure you don't hit or nick a vein, and when you hit one you'll know I promise you.

you did hit a vein, but dont worry. Like ^^^ said, aspirate, pull out slow, and have that alcohol swab ready right away for pressure.

it's possible you just nicked a vein, if you shot into a vein you'd know, i've knicked veins a few times on delts and bi's

To actually inject totally into a vein would be impossible, if anything you must have just nicked or just bad spot , nurse get them to. but gear is thick, and to go straight into vein, just cant see.
