can you keep the little macka in your thoughts and prayers today? He broke his arm last night and they are operating today. He's only 4 but already has a sports injury, poor little fella.

Operating? How bad was the break and if you don't mind : which sport? I have my kid in judo and I am scared of those arm breaks as they are common in that sport.

The good thing is at that age they heal fast and nicely.

He was riding his BMX when he did a gainer, but same type of landing as a judo throw. Its a radial fracture of the humerus he is getting 3 pins up 2 pins down from what the doc says.

I have a 4 year old boy too Macka. poor guy, hate to see someone young on the OP table. He'll have to slow er down and baby it for the summer, which isn't easy with a 4 yr old boy.

Its hard having a little one in the hospital. Key went head first into our fire place and split his head wide open and was in for a couple days concussed when he was about 3. Sure tugs at the heart strings when they are in there for sure. He had a surgery as well (for his ears), they sure get worked up when they come out of the anesthetic, all messed up and not sure what is going on but they come around pretty quick.

He will be up and going nuts before you know it man.

All the best for him. He must have landed really hard! I remember when I broke my arm it bent instead of breaking which is fairly common with little kids. Hopefully he heals up quick.
