CBB,

A very close friend of mine is about to go to court to settle a divorce---this has been going on for 4 years, and it has costed my friend (a female) over 15 ****ing thousand dollar in fees WTF!!

The ex-husband who is a complete looser, an alcoholic, and drug user---has been filing taxes each year into the MINUS--when he has a very lucrative business, has bought himself 3 big toys over the years (all well over 50k tickets, one is nearly 100K).
ALl my friend wants is what is hers, and rightfully so. She is not even going after him at all...but this ****er is such a loser.

I met with her a couple of nights ago, she is a complete mess over this situation. Not once has he given her money for his children, not ****ing once in 4 years. She has a very good job and is very ok with cash, but in the right eye, HE DOES HAVE responsibilities to come up with.

She has followed everything by the books, and fears the day the judge makes his ruling. I assure her that everything will be fine, that the judge will see his pies, and see that he is a ****ing dead beat drug user, alcoholic, sorry excuse for a male.
Court day is costing her 10k ALONE---WTF!!!

You know bro, you said it right.

My fiancee and I both know of this guy (HIS girlfriend is very close with my girl--so I know the scoop)

My girls friend is dating this REALLY NICE GUY...he is so easy, and a hard worker.
Well he just went through a divorce, and the bitch that he was married to, who cheated on the poor guy took him to the cleaners...I mean the judge took everything from him...down to the knitty ****ing things.

MY friend is not even asking for 50% of what is HERS....I told her, that the if she is asking for 1.00, but she is REALLY entittled for 10.00, that the judge will see right through her, and give her what is REALLY hers

I have advised her to go after what is really hers...the full 50% of all the big items...and the money in cash she has put out for day care, doctor...and other.

even if the roles were reversed in this, she will still win in court.

its too bad they couldnt resolve there shit like adults. as divorce lawyers are in their fields for a reason, they are the "ONLY" ones who come out smiling.

my buddy's wife cheated on him, and she got over half of everything they own. ****ed up system. since when is a relationship a business venture?

It's weird ****ing twisted world we live in.......Its really too bad that the person you once cared about soo soo ****ing much ends up screwing you hard in the end.....Explain that to me....How once a person can want you so much at one point then wants to take everything from you the next point. Just as physique said why can't this all be dealt with a little more maturity...I've always asked myself that question and it comes down the passion and feelings that run out of control because what has happened......Most lose all discretion over hurting the other once it comes down to the legalities of it all. The two parties involved seemed to be forced into fighting for what is there based on how the system is built! It's ****ing really really too bad! I wish your friend the best with all this B2J

Sure it does. No amount of money lost is worth staying in a relationship that you are not happy with.

The court will have no problem figuring out this kind of stuff. It's all in the paperwork. As for the kids, he'll have no choice to cough up unless he's got custody.

As for lawyer fees and stuff like that, this is what pays the bills for lawyers and why they make so much money.

But lots of men get taken to the cleaners in a divorce. It's sad when this stuff happens whether it's a man or woman. The law needs to be more fair.

Prenups are all the rave now with men that own businesses or have money. Most lawyers recommend it before getting married.

Too many women benefit the hard work men put in and then get a nice life after it all goes bad. It's no wonder men aren't getting married or having kids anymore.

Look at Mel Gibson and his soon to be ex. 500million the lady wants. Still can't get over it. I would love to have nannies raise my 8 kids and live the life of luxury and then when my woman wants out, I get 500million for my hard effort of being a house husband. What a crock. She wouldn't even be worth 500k if it wasn't for that man.

With all the cheating and the divorce going around lately, it makes me think twice why anyone would want to get married. Im only 22, but I dont plan on ever getting married, **** that shit.

cra has an anonymous hotline which can get those returns sorted out pretty quick if you give them the right info, ive seen people screwed that way before

and yeah, no way im ever getting hitched without a prenup, ive seen too many people emotionally and financially destroyed by divorce and its needless.

I think a hitman would be cheaper then 500 mill
