Do Girls really hate Hummers?

so i'm thinking of getting a car, and with the economy and stuff i figured you could get a pretty good deal on a used Hummer H2. i've always liked the looked of it, and I don't really commute much at all, so gas isn't an issue (i drive maybe 10 minutes a day if that) - BUT from talking to people, getting an H2 would really turn off a lot of girls.

so, opinions please. would getting an H2 really turn off a lot of girls? what do you think when you see a guy driving one?

i would hate to have everyone think i'm a jackass because i drive one.... i would prefer people to really get to know me, and then they'll see that I really am a jackass ;)

In this day and age when people are becoming more aware about protecting the environment, I think those trucks aren't the best choice.

For sure there is an attached status quo when you see a person driving one of them: Power, richness, secutiry and much more--NOT to be confused with guys who have extremelly small peckers, and big powerful cars ;)

You want to spend equal amount of cash, drive a very well liked and respected car? Then get the Jaguar X-Type!! You will have girls slipping wet :)
If you are hot for a truck, then I suggest the Blazetrailer, very nice, not too impossing IMO

The Murano is hot damn too IMO---I love it. The infinity truck, with dual exaust system, has me drooling too.

IF I had an extra 50 k laying around for a truck, the H2 would not be a choice.

I have bought 2 Hummer H2's.... and to answer your question, YES, They are chick magnets!! I first had a yellow one, sold it and got a car, but missed it so much after 2 months I went and bought a Black one, which I currently drive now. All girls I've had in the truck have made favourable comments on it, ask me for rides (I'm engaged so unfortunately I can't use it to pick up chicks, lol), but everywhere I go, parties, gas stations... wherever, people make comments and ask questions. Any body who says your over compensating is simply jealous.... same people that make negative comments about you cause you are a bodybuilder. If you own a business, thats great too cause you can put your biz decals on it, and its a great advertising tool. My advice.... get one, you'll love it.

that's the thing, i used to have a jeep back in the day. i thought it was great, but now that i need more room to store stuff, like bags, golf clubs etc... the jeep isn't the best for that kind of thing. that's why i thought of a hummer as a bigger jeep.

i don't associate the hummer with high status or for picking up chicks, just a rough ride like a jeep. i'm more interested in how pissed people will be for me driving one around. i've heard bad stories, people slashing tires etc.... and since I live in Toronto, there are a lot of chicks who are 'green' and hate anything that hurts a fly.... speaking of which, there was this girl that i went out with, brought her to my place. actually, it was my ex's. When we split up she got my Envoy (2007) and I took her CRV. Fighting about shit was useless as I just wanted out.

I'm a truck guy... I've driven cars and I just don't feel safe in them, and I come from a family where all the men drive trucks.

I've had two Dodges... love them. The new Hemi I have is beautiful and could roast my H2 until I had it Supercharged, Meth Injected, Exhaust, Headers, etc. It was a sweet beast and saved myself and my daughters life when we where broadsided by a semi, thrown and rolled into a tree. We survived without a scratch. In a car we would have been dead as it was complety wrote off and mangled.

I bought another Hummer. I like unique vehicles and they are a sweet ride. Yes I do offroad... alot. I've used my hummer to pull out my dodge while offroading.

As far as the ladies go. Yes, they love them. Especially the younger ones... the 20 age group. Let them drive and take a picture, gauranteed they'll have it on facebook the next day. Does it get me more pussy? I really don't know, I'm a well built attractive guy with confidence, so that helps...
