Whats a good way to meet new friends?

All my close friends have ****ed off lately. One of my best friends who I've known for around 15 years just recently started f ucking his female roommate which in turn led her to become his live-in girlfriend literally overnight. Said girlfriend hates my guts as me and her never got along in the past. So now said 'friend' has totally stopped hanging out with me because his **** of a gf doesn't like me. I barely see the guy anymore and to be honest I don't even want to. He can go fack himself for all I give a shit about.

My other best friend... known this guy 10 years... awesome bro and all that but he's married now and has a kid due next month. I barely see or talk to him now. His wife owns his ass anyway, plus with the kid I am never going to be able to hang with the guy now.

My other closest buddy moved away to another city because of a job, and he has a live-in girlfriend also.

My brother who is also my best friend recently had his girlfriend move in with us (me and him share a house) so 99% of the time he's chilling with his girl, who is a ****ing headcase by the way and my girlfriend hates her, so hanging out with them is kind of a no-go. So now I barely see my own brother who lives in the house I live in.

What's with the fackin pattern of guys becoming total pussy whipped loser ****s when they get a girlfriend? Jesus christ.

I also work from home for myself so I have no means of socializing at a workplace really. So now 99% of the time I am either by myself or chilling with my girl who doesn't live with me.

So no homo, but I am really ****ing missing some male camaraderie. I feel like I've got no one to go grab a beer with, shoot the kind of shit you can't talk about with your gf with, etc. It's ****ing depressing!!!

How the **** do I make new male friends?? I know it sounds gay but I am at a loss here.

Rec league Sports teams, most of the cool guys from my rec hockey team go out for beers after every game; might be a bitch to find a team if you dont know anyone.

Other than that mabey look into some evening classes at a local college/uni and just take stuff your actually interested in might meet some cool people that way.

Im in the same boat, all my older friends from school/childhood are too much into drinking and stuff and we've grown apart. In order to meet new friends you really have to find guys with similar interests. For me its bodybuilding, sports and eating out. So ive got a group of friends from the gym who are into bodybuilding. we train together and go for meals out on weekends.
Then i have a sports group who i play rec sports with (soccer, slow pitch..etc) these guys are a little too into drinking for my likes but we have the sports attraction to have in common. With this group we'll go to Seattle Mariner games, watch NHL games and play poker

lol, ya the guys that dont have a wife and kids just dont get that priorities change and it has nothing to do with being whipped. Its called watching your children grow up. I still go out once in a while but sitting in a bar does not apeal to me much anymore. I would much rather hang with the kids and play catch or go watch a movie etc.

it's true, as you get older the guys become more chicken of their wives or gf's. i'm in my mid 30's, and let me tell ya, pretty well most of my friends are down for the count. but i'm lucky enough that i live in TO, where there are plenty of other people that you can pop out for a beer.
