Just like to say hello to everyone.:ht

So here is what I did, thought I could do my work outs at home and bought a Bowflex. Needless to say it has now been sold and the wife and I have memberships at the gym again. For some reason not leaving the house to work out ended all the motivation I had.

Hear are my stats.

Age - 31 - 5-10" - 199lbs. - ?? % BF

I am going to be honest and say I know nothing about working out and often feel I am just going through the motions. I obviously am looking to knock down the BF, and gain muscle.

My goal is to become one of the guys that you notice at the gym.

If you guys could help in any way please let me know. If you need to know my eating habits, work hours, pics, anything let me know.

I am simply tired of being average and want to get BIG. :bch

Welcome, this site is deffinatly a great place to learn if you are just starting out. Also when you are at the gym dont be scared to ask the bigger guys for advice or help, its something I wish I had started doing sooner since ive made some good friends and learned alot.

hey now, so my first thought is to be sarcastic and say, if you want to be moticed at the gym wear a dress lol, that would get peoples attention.

Here is a quick brake down of my diet.

5:30- Shake 2 scoop Protein Multi-Vit

5:45- Coffee

8:50- 4 egg whites, 2 yolks
- or 1/2 cup peaches, 1/2 cup Cottage, 1/2 cup rasin Bran

11:50- Chicken & Brown Rice Pineapple

1:50- Beef & Brown Rice, Brocli

3:30- Chicken & Brown Rice

5:50- Coffee

6:00- Work Out

7:00- 2 scoop Protein Shake

7:30- Beef, Brown rice and peppers

9:00- Cottage Cheese, Peaches

10:30- Bed

i think it could use some help...if you want to grow you have to eat big....check this palumbo diet out...i made some changes to the order to work around my lifestyle.....

7am BREAKFAST MEAL 1:
6 whole eggs (buy the OMEGA-3 EGGS they sell in the supermarket) with 1 cup of Oatmeal (cooked)

9:00am
SHAKE

11am MEAL 2:
“LEAN PROTEIN MEAL” 8oz (cooked) of chicken (or turkey or lean fish or shrimp)-- with ½ cup cashew nuts (or almonds or walnuts) with 1 cup (cooked) RICE (brown)

1:30pm MEAL 3:
“FATTY PROTEIN MEAL” 8oz (cooked) of red meat (or salmon or swordfish) with a salad with 2 tablespoon of olive oil (or macadamia nut oil) and vinegar with 1 baked potato and/or yam

3:30pm MEAL 4: (pre-workout)
SHAKE: 55g Whey Protein** with 40g Waxy Maize*** (high molecular weight carbohydrate) with 1 tablespoon of Macadamia Nut Oil

GYM: WEIGHT TRAINING

MEAL 5: (post-workout)
SHAKE: 55g Whey Protein** with 50g Waxy Maize*** (high molecular weight carbohydrate).

6pm MEAL 6:
Repeat One of Above

9pm MEAL 7:
5 whole eggs


+++++ All meals are interchangeable. You can substitute one for another.

*** Cook your eggs in MACADAMIA NUT OIL and add a tablespoon to all your chicken fish, meats--

***ONCE or TWICE A WEEK, HAVE A CHEAT MEAL (make it the last meal of the day)

I thought I had read somewhere that Waxy Maize wasn't all it was cracked up to be?

I will try to come up with something. Keeping your diet in mind.
