i used oral tetracycline but accutane works better IMO, i never tried topical tetracycline. I was curious about spiro cause it doesn't usually cause redness on face so that would be good to use. Dun know about its affinity to sun exposure and etc.

using a topical tetacycline myself, doesnt do much for the cystic acne, but very effective for the "clogged pore" kind

as soon as you stop using it, the clogged pores come back

now i use it as an after shave on my chest, works amazing on ingrown hair irritation :D

Spiro or Spironolactone is more of a DHT blocker when applied topically and a diuretic when taken internally. So if acne is DHT induced it may work
