Been hit myself and looking back it wasn't as bad as I thought at the time. Luckily very little damage as it was in the shoulder.

getting a bullet in the abdomen, chest, spine, neck, or head, and arterial leg or arm shots can kill you in a minute or less. A bullet in the meat? Hurt like hell I am sure, but not bad. A couple weeks with stitches and then a scar.

IMO a tazer is another tool the police can use. Pepper spray can kill an asthmatic, yet it won't be shelved. Hell guns stop people dead, yet its OK for cops to carry them. If you go back a few years in Newfoundland the RNC was unarmed. They have made a lot of people drool in their porridge over the years, as they hired a lot of big guys who swung first and stopped when it pleased them. Tazers have a place, I'm not saying they should never be used. I'm saying, they are being abused against people that are no big threat. The cops use them as toys for their own amusement. That is my point.

The taser argument will continue. It has been rehashed here a couple times. For me the issue is the classification of the weapon. I believed it should be classed as a lethal weapon and be used accordingly.

Plenty of people have died due to heart failure after being tazed... plenty cops are using it excessively, just like a lot of them do with everything else.

It's supposed to be used as an alternative to shooting someone with a gun, however they're using it instead of using their skills to take someone down. They're being ****ing LAZY and are tazing people when they shouldn't be... and YES, some people are dying because of that.

The numbers are small, but there are enough that there should be something done about it.
