this contest is more of a ****ing joke every year...

World Harris should have been top 10... Ronnie should not have been.
Jay should have been SEVERAL places lower and Martinez shoulda been a few places lower.

So many guys got screwed and just as many got gifts.

Only scores I think were CLOSE to right were that Silvio was up there, and Dexter was high up. But no way Silvio beat Dave Henry.

I doubt I will ever pay a cent to watch this show as long as it continues to be so blatantly fixed.

It is actually Denis Wolfe that took 5th...Denis James was a bodybuilding.com misprint. My feelings, the top two were definitely Jay and Victor....Jay tightened up a lot for the finals, as he was slightly off at the pre-judging, most notably in hams, glutes and abs. Victor got sharper too, so one could easily argue the case for Victor but Jay still has too much mass on him. You've got to knock out the champ to win the Olympia thats pretty clear and Victor did not...one thing is for sure though, once Denis Wolfe matures a little more and puts some more meat on his lower lats, he is gonna be a huge force.

Ye it really is a joke, the judging sucks the guys are looking more and more abnormal (Don't like the GH look). It's all politics and not bodybuilding.

I think the fact that BB.com messed up putting in Dennis James for Dennis Wolf kinda tells the tale. (I actually did the same thing when I typed out the places then edited...then copy and pasted it which messed things up). I think the judges do a reasonably good job considering how tough it must be to judge the best 25 bb's in the world. However, I also think they take popularity and reputation into account too much.

I think overall mass is too important these days. Ferrigno was about 265lbs at competition and TALL! Jay Cutler is 5'9" and ways 275lbs.
What ever happened to looking athletic, and not like a massive slined up beast?

Ronnie is NOT going into retirement.. If you watched the show he said he was leaving the olympia stage but will continue with shows across europe and maybe do the arnold.

Also, i'm thrilled to see Gustavo get 8th.. I just dont like that guy for so many reasons.

As Glass said watching Martinez; "Some of these guys need to practice their posing more so they can bring it together."

Martinez cannot pull off a front lat spread[wtf? easiest pose ever!] or a most muscular. He looks like a tool. Jay had soft flabby parts, as did Ron and some others. These guys have a mental block about losing size, I'm sure of it. They need to stop being such pussies and drop another 5-10lbs of flab.

Anyone else watch the female bodybuilders at the Mr. Olympia? I'm wondering if it was just me or did they look in WAY better condition than the men. The last time I saw definition like that the muscles were on a body I was disecting. Especially in the hamstrings.

I agree 100%!!! it's more about size rather than quality. Is this the future of bodybuilding?????

i just got home from watching the O, and cutler got a huge gift! he was a watery mess. he even said it himself in his victory speech. and there were others in way better shape, wolfe for 1, silvo samuels. hell even martinez was in great condition, but yes cant pose worth shit

His upper back is good but desperately needs to fill in his lower lats. If he can do that and bring up his claves, he will have no weaknesses.
