So I used Test through out my 20's and used dosages that ranged from 250 to 500mg/week for 16-20 week cycles. I never had problems with gyno or hair loss at those dosages or time intervals. I haven't used Test for about 3-4 years until about 2 months ago I started a 500mg/week cycle.

I have definitely noticed thinning hair. I started this cycle with a very thick hair and since I am 32 I haven't had any signs of going bald nor did I have a receding hairline. I am guessing that my body is converting more of the test to DHT which is causing my hair to thin.

So here are a few questions that I have for people with experience in the realm of hair loss.

1. Did you experience any hair loss at 250mg of test/week that was caused by the test?

2. If I lower my dosage to 250mg/week will my hair loss slow down or stop?

3. If I start taking some dht blocking drugs will my hair loss stop right away and I can stay on my 500mg/week dose?

4. If I start an oral drug treatment will some of the follicles come back or are they gone forever?

5. Which drug should I take and at what dosage for guaranteed results?

Thanks.

Is there a history of male pattern baldness in your family? If that's the case then there isn't much you can do aside from hair plugs or a wig. Steroids don't cause hair loss if it's not in your genetics, but they will accelerate your hair loss if you are prone to it in the first place. And as for lowering your dosage to slow the hair loss, I'm not sure that will work. I have friends that work in hair restoration clinics in Canada and US and I've heard of guys going bankrupt trying to save their hairline. Literally spending every dime on treatments. Short of surgery, there is nothing you can do. But don't sweat it. Chicks dig muscles and a clean shaved head.
