the story of an aging professional wrestler recounting his trials and tribulations, starring Mickey Rourke.

one of the best films i've seen in a while. Mickey continues to surprise and impress in obscure roles.

in one scene he is buying gear in the locker room and asks for GH, 'not the chinese shit'. lol.

definitely worth the rental, i recommend it to anyone.

Its really good.... and not in a cheesy kind of way. Just a real life story about a washed up wrestler..... and a look into what the real wrestling life style is all about. No WWE influence here!

Even if you don't like the movie, Marisa Tomei skanking it up is worth the price of admission. I thought it was a great movie.

The best part was when the steroid dealer goes over what the wreslter is buying... then a sweet double Bi pose, buddy is a big boy.


Funny thing about that part is, the guy who was the "dealer" in the movie, got popped for really dealing steriods a few weeks after the premier... Pretty funny.

Just watched this. It is awesome. I am far from being a wrestling fan. It was a great character study.

It was way better than I expected.
The roid dealer was pretty funny, sells him everything but the kitchen sink.
Marisa Tomei..... Still hot after all these years even as a skanky stripper!
