Hey guys,
i just got myself some creatine mono and the guy at the supplement store told me to mix it with water but another guy at the same supplement told me to mix it with juice because it gets into the muscle faster. What is the best way to mix this stuff with?
yes juice is more effective than water.
ideally, you want to mix with 5-15 Grams dextrose(corn sugar) and 5-10grams Taurine, drink immediately

Mix it with anything that has a high GI (like dextrose). You could also add salt and post workout is the best time from what I've read. The reasoning is that it will have better absorption. Not sure how significant the difference would be between (for ex.) taking it in the morning w/ water vs. after workout w/ dextrose but it may be worth it.

If you have some before your workout just spoon it in your mouth and drink some water. If your having it after your workout, mix it with your PW shake that contains dextrose

Mix it with powdered Gatorade (contains dextrose) PWO. You can buy it at virtually any grocery store. A can is about $5-6...The fruit punch tastes great..

Do both. On non training days take it when you get up before breakfast. And gatorade has been my post workout carb of choice for many years now. I never get tired of the orange flavor.

I agree, grape juice FTW. just check to see that it is not from concentrate. Welshs is pure grape juice which contains dextrose.

Why does everyone still prefer to use monohydrate? I use ethyl ester, you don't have to take it down with sugar and it does not bloat me nearly as bad as mono does...

Have you read any recent research on CEE?? It is not any more effect than regular creatine mono. In fact, none of the newer forms of creatine outperform regular creatine mono in actual clinical studies...

So I prefer CEE especially while cutting. Though CEE tastes like shit.

Water retention can be a good thing if its in the right places. If I'm not mistaken subcutaneous water retention is a form of edema right? Wouldn't this be an indication that something is wrong? Why would creatine attached to something slightly different not produce "water retention"? Why would creatine cause subcutaneous water retention at all? What if it means that CEE doesn't work as well and that's why it doesn't cause water retention? Why would you buy a more expensive product that is probably less effective?
All these questions...

That`s what I`ve told somebody before, very logical way of explaining it.
from personal experience, CEE just as good strengh as monohydrate with little to no face bloat, which is tres important for me

Everyone seems to be hung up on mixing monohydrate with dextrose. Try using waxy maize, the results are night and day better. (In my personal experience anyway)

The other thing about when people talk about the fact that cee causes less water retention is the fact they`re taking less creatine overall. Most use 3 grams 2x`s a day. Try that with mono and see if you have "less water retention" you keep seeing.

I use 5-8 grams preworkout with both... harder to accuretly measure mono though since its not capped

I buy mine at the super C grocery stores and it only costs 4.79$. Man are there ever alot of ugly ****ing welfare types there. You look what`s in their carts and it`s all vachon cakes, pepsi, beer and popsicles. The Bougons`s in real life.
