What you need is a workout partner man. Somebody to hit the gym with you and motivate you.

I just go through the motions until it passes. It always passes.

plan a trip somewhere that you want to look your best. That will fire you up. Although if you're married/involved I guess it doesn't really matter as you won't be looking to hook up anyway.

yeah...that usually works Nate....but I am married..and i only like to do trips in the winter to get out of the snow.......weather is starting to look good here......

dumb question...could this at all be related to the ECA i am taking...usually it revs me up for workouts..but when i hit the gym my workouts are lagging....actually dropped weight on my lifts..but not really any body weight.

How long have you been taking the ECA? I've heard eventually it can cause adrenal fatigue which would probably make you feel tired and unmotivated to do anything. Some other guys will know more about it though.

Some time ago I was using ephedrine on its own for a while (maybe 10 days) and it definitely burned me out. CNS overload I think. To top it off, I had to taper off it because of nasty withdrawl symptoms. Once it was out of my system I was back to normal. I'll never use ephedrine again, lol!

Watch some bodybuilding videos, watch some booty shake videos on youtube, switch your playlist on your mp3 player, change your workout clothing, have a friendly competition with a buddy..

Why don't you try training at a different gym. I know it may be a little costly, but like a two week blitz at another gym may get the juices flowing again.

Most gyms will give you a free week if you show some interest.

I got nasty mood swings off using ephderine. i was only taking it before work outs and i was fine for that day. But the next day i would get almost depressed. I remember Zeone experienced the same type of symptoms. However I am the opposite of you, ECA boosted my lifts slightly.

i would try dropping it and see if you get your motivation back to go at er hard again.

Yup what he said.Plus ephidrine can lead to overtraining bro which in my case keeps me unmotivated along time

the better weather has to helping your motivation bro? I know it has mine. Dirt and training have been nothing short of perfect the last few weeks. Every gym session, every second of cardio every single meal (42/weel)... perfect!

L-tyrosine. Take 3 grams one hour after a meal. Do this a few times a day.

Buy some new supps, take a walk in the park and enjoy the beauties jogging, look through some fitness magazines, get a deep tissue massage, and another way but may be too late is take pics every week or 2 and you will see progress and keep you motivated. Just get in there so you dont any of your previous hours of hard work .

if your wife doesnt mind leave fitness magazines everywhere, by the remote, by the phone ,on top of the shitter, hell even hang some of those posters up at the end of your bed havent had to hang them up yet, but sure it would help some.

Find a work out partner. Last fall when my mom in law was dying i'd go to the gym and nearly break down while working out. Then the DH drama began.

I found a work out partner and we sometimes share our downs but mostly talk about the good things in our day.

Now I'm motivated again. LOL..I trained alone on Thursday..she saw me there and came over to me...SHOCKED. What was I doing lifting those bad boys she asked......What? They are only 45s i answered. LOL. She keeps me lifting safe now..not stupid heavy.

Have you done your bloods? I lose motivation if my test is low... very badly. If you can get your energy up with a stimulant (coffee for me) and go mind over matter, you can push through it. Or like FC says, a training partner can help kick your ass to the gym. Might there be any other reason why your not motivated? Depressing situations can do it too... for sure.

get a good gym partner, change up your routine, and change your playlist.
