Hey guys. I was just wondering what the consensus is out there?

I have only used aas to preserve muscle mass while cutting, and have never used to bulk up.

Just wondering how long after a bulking cycle does one typically wait before cutting up.

well.....for those that come off it goes like this....time on = time off ......then cut.......

Different folks use different approaches.
There is no real set parameter when it comes to this kind of question IMO--as my colleage and test juice monkey fellow brother tex stipulated, many use the theory: time on= time off, then hit it again.

Depending on the length, strength, compounds used on your so-called bulker....you are also bound to loose a few pounds while in the PCT stage and even after. I would say wait for a full rebound, let your system re-establish itself again--blood levels get back to normal and so one.

What do you have in mind?

I try to stay relatively lean, but bounce around between 10-15%. Right now I am 15% and am now using the last 3-4 weeks of my cycle to get back down, then pct .
The last 3-4 weeks I will be on tren and test, so shedding weight is easier, and muscle mass sticks better.

I think this question is relative. The MORE one gains on a cycle the more one should wait before cutting. If you absolutely have to cut after gaining alot on a cycle then you must crank up AAS usuage big time in order to maintain what you got.If not cruise or come off completley for a couple of months and maintain or at least try. There will be some loss however unless you go the radical way and stay on.

Others who have gained just a bit will be tempted to cut right away. This can be done if you either up your dose a bit..or add an anabolic or use something harsher like tren to keep muscle loss to a minimum. But in the long run(unless you are competing) comming off and maintaining is the best thing you can do

Currently I am on the palumbo diet, and using tnt - 1 shot every M W F......
Just thinking on doing a winter bulk, as i have never done one before.

I have used aas three summers in a row now, and everytime I have cycled, I have only used it for cutting (i.e. low to zero carbs and cardio everyday). I have had great success in maintaining muscle mass, and on this cycle, I am even putting on a little size.

However, i don't think I am utilizing the full potential of aas on this type of system.

I am planning on stocking up for the winter and doing a simple test and eq winter bulk, with some moderate carbs and high protein.

Just curious as to what my potential would be.

Exactly what Ricky said...the more you gain the longer you need to remain at that weight to allow the body to adjust to this new muscle otherwise it will want to drop it qucikly as your setpoint is much lower. The longer you remain at the higher weight the body will adjust to the new setpoint and the muscle will stick with you.
Thats why running a bulker then cutting cycle is usually not very productive.
The body wants to remain in homeostasis thus you need to make it feel that homeostasis includes the new weight.

For me its usally at least 3-4 months, but I think the best way to figure it out is to wait until your body knows to hold onto the weight on its own. You should be able to slip up and eat like shit for a few weeks skip a couple of workouts and not have the scale drop at all.
