fack, drawing the goods today, got .75ml of tren, 1cc EQ then go for .5cc of enanthate....whilst drawing that, i pull in 3 pieces of rubber from the stopper being raped by the 18g pin all the time....**** ME!!!

wasnt about to waste the good stuff, so i managed to fandangle them all (i hope) out of the mix and carry on....

any suggestions with this dilema? is it cause i keep reusing the 18g, thus its dull, or just the size of the pin itself..

open to any tips, and feedback if i put a piece of rubber in my ass...lol

I always use new pins for drawing, they're cheap and I'm a germ-a-phobe. I would suspect that is your trouble, many guys draw with 18s and no issues.

As for the piece of rubber in your ass........I'll leave that one alone so this doesn't become another gay thread :D

yeah..18g will chew them up for sure...i usually draw it up with 21s...25s....seems to be fine...a bit slower but no biggy

Here's something to try that i've had some luck with..

Get a glass cup fill it with an inch of hot water from the tap. Microwave that water for 30 seconds so it's nice and hot. Sit your vial in that water and then cover the cup with something.

Let it sit in there for a couple minutes. It will heat up the oil and at the same time the steam inside will warm up the rubber stopper and make it less brittle. I use the same pin to draw as I do to inject ( 25g ) and it doesn't seem to dull it as much going through a warm rubber stopper, and never had pieces of rubber break off since..

Worth a try.

18g is the reason. I had some fun and wasted .1cc getting a rubber floatie out saturday night. Now I use 20g 1" and it's just as easy.

btw WTF are you doing reusing a needle??? there is cheap and then.... well you know.

I draw with a 23g. I've never had any issues with the stoppers breaking apart... Also, I wouldn't use the same pin even for drawing.

I have never done this or needed to..but was thinking maybe the rubber that is falling apart is because it's dried out? Like my rubber dish washing gloves do..Are the bottles older stock you had sitting around that dried out or just new shipments? Where do you store them at?
