Anyone who has read my posts knows my stomach doesnt take well to volumes of just about any supp. I get the runs easy. LEANFIT WHEY from GFR HEALTH at costco is a blend that is 25 grams per 32 gram scoop. It is the BEST for me so far, and at 30$ for 5lbs (canadian) its way cheaper. I think the thing about this whey is its 4 digestive enzymes - no farting or runs for me! It has only sucralose as a sweetener, bromelain, amylase, papain, and lipase enzymes. I highly recommend it for value and quality! Comes in vanilla and chocolate and is sometimes on sale for 7$ off. Get it while they got it!

it tastes like SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought it when I had too. I bought 15lbs, thinking "it cant be that bad" I got both vanilla/chocolate, they are gross by themselves, but do blend up well in a shaker. They are not bad it you paln on making a shake in a blender, and adding somthing to kill the taste.

I did find I lost a certain amount of size/strength while comsuming 4-6 of these shakes a day. I have never had that happen. It made me think that for the cost saving, there is NO WHEY there is a quality product inside.

i didnt find it tastes bad... but ive never been fussy. It cant be compared to the top iso, but if your blends are good enough for you, cant beat the value.

it is a new product they are carrying. Also, i dont know about costco USA. The canadian branches carried keissen (spelling) for a while i think.

Were you able to mix it in a shaker? Been reading alot about this powder and the people who hate it seem to be keen on buying much, much more expensive whey`s not beleiving a less expensive one can be any good. I have a friend here who buys it and says it`s great and mixes well, but uses vanilla. I`m more into chocolate.

It mixes well. The flavour is also pretty good, but im not fussy. Also, i dont feel like paying the big companies tons of advertising costs which can add up to a huge chunk of the price of a tub of whey. Even then, you may only be getting marginal quality, no matter what reviews you read. I find it hard to be sure about anything until you try it now adays... For me, it works, so ill stick to it. I did however grab a couple ISO tubs off physique cause the price was unreal... But 80$ or more for 5 lbs simply is not justifiable to me anymore. I stick to whole foods the most, and only have 2 shakes a day at 50 grams a peice.

I love the cost of this stuff. I am all about cheap protein too, but at what expense?

I would recommend talking to any one of our sponsors about getting a "deal" They might be able to put somthing together. They might not. But it is worth the extra $5-$10 for a Great tasting, Mixing shake.

This costo stuff is great if you are on a TIGHT budget. I have just found alot of other comparable prices, from well know companies.

i would agree on that for anyone that can stomach any protien.. dont forget the main idea of the thread tho, its the enzymes that i believe are helping digest it... i would be open to other brands if they were equipped with something that would do the same. I find even the highest quality isolates go right thru me without a little help...

Thank you for posting this! I'm so annoyed of how expensive whey can be, so I will definitely be trying this out.

I've been buying my protein a costco for years now. Kaizen isolate sells for 39.99 for 4.4lbs. It mixes well obviously being an isolate and tastes great. Best deal I've found when buying that specific quantity.

The GFR wasn't bad, and for 23.99 it's a good price. The Kaizen tastes much better IMHO, but is nearly 20.00 more. Long story short, if you don't mind the taste grab the cheaper brand.

I picked up a jar the other day as I unexpectedly ran out and I love the taste and so does my wife and she is really difficult when it comes to protein powder. A great find.

I found that when I had some brands (read: Walmart Six Star) I would stink bad. Some of the "Digestive Enzymes" supplement from the vitamin section seemed to help alleviate a good deal of it.

I tried this protein recently and it's decent. Mix it with some juice and it tastes a lot better. Good price and convenient when I go pick up my weekly dose of chicken breasts, beef, fish and milk.

IMO it has a more neutral taste then the Kaizen from costco. The Kaizen has good mix-ability etc etc but ****, way too much artificial sweetener. Makes me sick.
