PVL whey maxx......tastes like shit!

i have used PVL mutant mass vanilla before and found the taste to be fine...i always buy vanilla since it generally is ok.........but i must say PVL whey maxx vanilla smells gross & tastes bad....expiry on my 10lbs bag is 2010.....gonna be chokin this crap back for a while.............gonna have to mix it with fruit i guess

The worst tasting protein I have ever tried is Optimum Nutrition chocolate. Bad. Very bad.

never had this whey max as we dont carry that line. is it an isolate?

i agree on the ON whey choc tasting bland. not a favourite of mine.

Mix the stuff with something else:) Don't punish yourself for months to come over it bro, just be creative with it.

For me whenever I purchase something that tastes like cats ass, I simply put up with it :D I think of my ultimate objective: Diet

I actually don't mind the taste of the PVL Whey Maxx vanilla. I have a 10 lb bag of it myself. Having said that, 4 weeks of any flavour gets bland, so what I do to change it up is mix in some zero carb hot chocolate mix along with a bit of instant coffee.....voila, mocha flavour.

I will take just about any protein flavour, I'm from the old days when we sucked back gallons of desicated liver and brewers yeast in tomato juice for protein and some weider protein pellets that tasted like urinal mints. I think about this every time somebody complains about taste.

I like the PVL whey maxx choc. I am not a fan of any vanilla either...

How about you guys try vanilla isogainer. By far hands down the most putrid suplement that I have ever had the misfortune of injesting.

Mix it with a single serving package of Tangerine Chrystal Light. It will taste like a cream sickle. Put it in the blender with some skim and ice and its nearly heaven.

as for the chocolate...again, i have tried the Mutant Mass choc. and it was acceptable.........scared to ever get whey maxx again!!!!!!! lol

man 2 scoops of chocolate mixed with water tastes good as hell. I think ON tastes better, but PVL is cheaper

I have tried Banana and cookies and cream and chocolate, chocolate was by far the worst
But I get whatever is cheapest at the time and this time was banana and I like it a lot.
