Except the reality of a bodybuilder usually entails being broke, living in the gym, excessive drug use (both recreational and steroids), cutting social ties with everyone in your world including family, and spending 5 months out of every year dieting for a show in hopes of winning a $14 trophy.

Hate to say it, but I've seen way too many people lose everything in their lives just in *hopes* of becoming bigger.

Many moons ago on CJM Mangina25 said it best.. "...if bodybuilding is all that defines me, then I'd rather hit the treadmill."

Kinda like that guy in Bigger Stronger Faster. Living in his van in the parking lot of a Gold's Gym. Talk about a reality check.

You dont have to go to extremes to be a bodybuilder. Hell, anyone dedicated to bodybuilding is a bodybuilder. Just cuz you arent a pro doesnt make you any less of a bodybuilder. So I dont know who all the peoplke youre talking about are, but they arent necessarily more dedicated, theyre just ****ing stupid.
