what do you do for hair removal??

im a hairy guy for sure.. strong chest/stomach ..and traps/shoulders get some black ones..

I usually dont do much for winter and just bic it in the summer..but im thinking of hitting the salon for a upper body wax.. cost about 70bucks for both I think.

is it worth it? does it last pretty long??

Wax is the worst thing I ever did for pain in my life. Saving grave was that I got a boner from the hot chick waxing near my cock.

Now I looked great for ten days. Then the ingrown hairs begun. I got waxed feb 1 and I still have some that I have not got out yet.

I will never wax again

Just buy a good trimmer you can get them at pretty much any drug store and its alot more cost effective than wax. I usally just do a quick pass every couple of days before I get in the shower.

i agree... trimming is way better if you're not competing... shaving/waxing/plucking (ouch!!).... leaves the pores open to zits....

then again, there's always laser hair removal if you can afford it... get rid of it for good (i think?)

i trim for maintenance. i bought an electric sheer, with plastic guards and usually go over the hair and leave it 1/2 inch long. Looks alright, and eventually I will get lazered

waxing is brutal, legs are about the only thing wax is good for.

i tried shaving but i broke out and was a walking pimple for a few weeks.....then i let my wife wax me and it was ****ing painful and i broke out again....now i am just hairy....but i am blonde so it doesnt look horrible and i just dont give a shit anymore.....whatever you do DONT try this powder mix called "Magic"....it says formulated for black men for a reason....it'll give whiteboys a nasty chemical burn......it hurt to put clothes on, shower, lay in bed for quite a long time.....

Electric shaver once a week for me.. no pimples.. smooth enough..

Do it standing in your tub before you shower - just make sure you get all the hair out after!

Wax seems to be the only thing that works on my forearms. The razor doesn't do a terribly good job and I'd have to shave twice a day.

I think the lazer is a crock of shit. My wife went in and got in done on her special parts, had about 10 treatments and she still needs to shave the box. I went in a few times to see how they go about it and maybe her being blond was an issue but def not what we were expecting. They told us 3-5 treatments and there would be no hair left.

And at 150 bones a treatment that shit was not cheap.

I've had good luck clipping and then shaving after with a mentholated shaving gel. No bump or zits. GO with a very light pressure on the razor.

Although, this could be because I'm not on a cycle right now.

Waxing gave me acne. However, 'Sugaring' does not. Washes away clean and doesn't clog pores. :)

Electrolysis is the only thing that works....this is coming from someone who works in a spa.

if you shave/wax just make sure to exfoliate with a loofa 2x a day... every day... rub that skin raw to get rid of all the dead skin help with the ingrown hairs... it should be red red raw maybe bleeding in some spots thats how you do a good job

went to get chest waxed, got all sweaty, didnt exfoliate...holy moly 3 months my chest looked like deep dish pizza

now shave the chest, exfoliate, heres a pro tip use Benzaclin/Myociclyn (an acne mediaction) after shaving/exfoliating to help with the inflamation, works like a charm

gonna get upper arms lasered its dark hair hopefully only 3-4 treatments i hate looking like grandpa

I've tried the laser hair removal... spent about $2000 on my back, stomach and chest.. yeah, it's kept it at bay, but for someone who's never really "off", the androgens keep them growing... so it's just like a dam holding back the flood.

I've been thinking of trying waxing but I'm prone to ingrowns and acne.. this electrolysis sounds interesting though.

Heard of it but don't understand the science or process behind it.

I know someone who works in the Spa industry and she says sure those laser therapy sounds good but it's the electric current from Electrolysis that will actually kill the route of the hair etc.
