I searched and only came across a thread titled "telling your doctor..." or something

My girl was quite curious and was accusing me in a round about way. I'm much more swole then when we first met, and because of deca dick I had to resort to viagra to keep it up. She found the blue diamonds and got all weird thinking I wasnt attracted to her. I broke down and told her the deal and I think she thinks less of me because of it.

I was just curious how many of you tell your girlfriend/wives about your use. I'm sure they have a suspicion. but how many of you actually full on admit to using? If you have, what were their reactions?

My girls knows. It all depends on trust. How much you can trust her.

It's good that you told her. The more you educate her on it the better, so she understands it rather then listening to the media BS.

dude, hide your shit better LOL

especially the ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION pills.

as far as telling, depends. My last GF was a non-convincer as she had an ex who beat her up on a "roid rage" so I lied. She blamed roids, and that was that... She was an educated type, worked in healthcare, and I wasnt going to be telling her whats what about that LOL

If you trust her than you should tell her. If it's not a serious relationship than I'd keep it on the Q.T. I've only done a couple cycles but i have always told my wife before i start.

my gf knew/knows when i am on the juice. no big deal.

her first reaction was 'i'm not educated enough to form a negative opinion on it'

and i had already been on for like 3 or for months (through the summer) (i was in univ at the time so she didn't really see me much) and didn't show any of the 'roid rage, etc' Hollywood symptoms. So she read some shit on her own and was cool. She also trusts in my love for life and that i wouldn't do anything to really hurt myself in the long run.

And I was all huge and cock diesel on the sauce. She liked it that too

i would love to ba able to be open with GF's and family, but it just doesn't work. with the girlfriend would ask something, if i even had the slightestdisagreement... everytime it would would be "well maybe if you were not on steroids" i would love to find one that i could trust!

oh and once with the family, an arguement happened it would come up if i was still using.... so after trying educate, and failing, i simply dont tell anyone.

it just pisses me off how people will judge something when they know nothing about it.

one of the best vids i found is "the truth about steroids" on you tube. perfect quote "to all those who claim steroids are dangerous, where are the bodies!"

My wife knows. I would rather have it that way. She knows I am on HRT and I told her I supplement. She thought it foolish at first but I told her she needed to trust that I knew what I was doing like I needed to trust her in telling her. I am not a big user. I have only ever run Test.

Someone did make the comment in the past that you can guarantee that your usage will come up if there is ever a child custody battle. This is the only drawback I see.

My friends know that I'm pro-steroids but not that I use.

Since i made the choice to start I've been much more low-key on my pro-steroid view. I just tell them I'm eating a lot more.

people used to call me out on it directly or just assumed that i'm taking it. my family isnt stupid. anyone knowlegable can figure it out. i can spot a roid user from a mile away.

so ive pretty much stopped caring, i just talk openly about it now.

Damn, only one close friend knows and I dont plan on telling anyone else since I already get alot of flack from the family; they think its nuts to hit the gym 5 nights a week.

Not something I would want to keep from a Wife tho, but I do try and avoid the subject with my girlfriend.

For some people (maybe not you) steroids are a lifestyle.

I tell the lady everything, she finds it interesting.

I don't spread the news about my use, but I don't hide it either. I'm not embarrassed of who I am. If some one really wants to know, no problem.

If it's a serious relationship, you're going to want to be accepted for you are. And if you're a bodybuilder who uses gear, she (or he) should know the real you. Lies or deception mean a relationship is going nowhere but to the brink. On the other hand, if it's a short term fling and you only want good sex, lies can be to your advantage.:tu

I thought it was legal to use.
yeah it is but jesus it doesn't take rocket science to figure out 99% of people who use DON'T have a prescription for it and if they do they sure as hell don't for tren, dbol, var, etc, etc, etc

All it takes is one vendictive person to claim to the police that you are a dealer of steroids which for most of us isn't true but do you really like the idea of taking a chance that the cops don't come to your home, put you under survelience or any other track'n'trace methods they have????

I don't see how anybody can be in a serious relationship and hide steroid use. My girl knows everything about my use, and I know everything she's up to. Its pretty hard to have a successful relationship when one person is hiding the things they do.

I have learned the hard way, that everything comes out in the wash. Not only hiding steroid use.... but hiding anything!

dinosaur

well no... no I don't.

But I figure most of the cops, the young ones, are using it anyways.

I see your point, but I'm not heavily involved in the steroid world. I just use for myself. So the cops could watch me day and night and all they would see is me getting gradually bigger :)

watching you they'd know you were buying it. Possession is legal - purchasing it not :)

I keep steroid use for myself. As Nat said, it is illegal and steroid use is not neccesarily a good thing to have someone hold against you. I've been tempted to tell some females in my life but I simply think that them knowing that you on steroids is gonna take away from your credibility once you have a fight and things get ugly. The media has planted the "roid rage" into everybodies head which doesnt help.

There are some things that women don't have to know.. especially when it comes to things that can be used against you once things turn ugly

I also keep it on the down low...If they ever decide to legalize it then I'll tell the world how magnificent the gear truly is.

I'm still pissed off that Arnold hasn't done anything to legalize it!

I tell everyone. I'm very in-your-face about it. You don't like it, not my problem. You think it's illegal? Not my problem. You think it's wrong? Not my problem.

Possession is legal, and so is use. Moreover, in Canada the law cannot use your doing something that isn't illegal as a suspicion for doing something illegal (such as importing or purchasing). So the more people know I use, the more vocal I am about it, the more easily I can cast reasonable doubt that LE used knowledge of my use (which isn't illegal) to suspect me of doing something illegal and thus procedure fault. Of course I don't do anything illegal ever, and never would. But just in case. :D

I tell long-term girlfriends or family if they ask, but no one else. If they start with the fear-mongering crap I just reply 'Then you probably shouldn't use them'. I don't much bother trying to educate anyone about it unless their interest is sincere and open-minded.

if you can't be honest with someone there's a problem. My girl knows what i do and whether she likes it or not i will make my own choices, if its a big enough deal to screw up the relationship then it was wrong anyway. eventually all lies and shit will come to light..

monkey
11-04-2009, 03:09 AM
Yeah.. i can see how honesty is neccesary in a relationship. I personaly would still prefer not saying it, but i am not married and have not been in anything too serious while juicing... anyways, I'll keep it for myself but guess I could see myself bringing it up once things get serious or if she starts being suspicious.

A problem exists when that stuff comes up at work. I recently took my shirt off at work ( which happened to be a bit too tight) and some girl was just like" wtf, Are you taking steroids?? You got wwaaayy bigger , f**k look at your back"( yeah I packed 15 pounds in 5-6 weeks)
So yeah, ****. Now half my work is gossiping about my steroid use and I'm not even done cycling..
I got out of it, but those are moments when beig honest about gear would just be plain stupid ( especially considering my position and the work environment)...
I just always blame it on creatin and glutamin, lol

My wife knows, however I am fairly new to steroid use (last two years). The great thing is my wife loves the gains I make in the gym and she is extremely supportive of my choice. I could not imagine being married to someone and having to keep a secret like this from her.
