I believe it. It's amazing he could do that. One of my favourite bodybuilders.

Part of this is bullshit. I have the Muscle Fitness somewhere where he said he tore his pec benching 455 , NOT 600 lbs !

It is hard to believe every bodybuilder these days has something some say they dont train arms some say they dont deit for show just stupid little stuff to make them look like a freak. I think this is another one of those cases

Flex Wheeler is a good example . Lost of bullshitters out there in the pro ranks and it's always to make themselves seem freakier than the next guy. All this myostatin crap is complete bullshit.

I wonder which is true, I see him benching 495lbs pre contest, So I know he was probably capable of a 600 pound bench press.. Wether or not it's what caused his pec tear I have no clue?

His original reason for the pec tear was that he was doing 1oo lb flyes. The he changed his story because he thought that people would think his career was over if he tore it heavy benching, like it matters how you'd do it. A tear is a tear. He is full of shit IMO. There has been rumours for years (unsubstantiated mind you) that he runs 12-13 grams od product a week leading up to contest time. That is a much more likely explanation than 2-3 months of 4,000 cals a day and some 'heavy training' He may be a genetic freak , but if this was possible then every other pro out there would do the same thing.

thats really not particularly impressive especially for a guy training in powerlifting. if you look up records youll find way more impressive strength/weight ratios

Nothing to write home about.. I've pushed 460 at a bodyweight of 232.

As for the video.. I doubt he's bullshitting. What would be the point? Not like he's active in the competitive scene anymore.

He may be trying out his 'acting' skills though.

Except that he claims he was in his teens. On a related note , Charlie Francis used to claim that Ben Johnson could bench 440 at a bodyweight of 190 pounds.

With the amount of fast twitch muscle fiber that guy has I'd say it's possible. He's also not very tall which would help.

i think that pro bodybuilders like to hear themselves talk, and attribute their achievements to "genetic freakism" when in reality they are just able to afford lots of gear and GH.

well no doubt gear is involved but I would not attribute most of their success to gear dude.

You can say that because you can't do what they do so we all attribute their size and conditioning to drugs. If you ate like them, dedicated like them, trained like them, sacrificed like them, etc, etc, etc, etc then maybe, just maybe you'd rethink that it's all drugs.

and you gotta add great genetics in there,we all know guys who do alot less on the discipliner end of things and are still beyond us,levrone was prob big and strong long before he touched gear
