Hey folks, just wondering if you guys could give me some feedback on some diuretics that you found gave you good results, and also which ones to stay away from. It would be greatly appreciated.:fback

Dyazaide I find is the best because you dont have to use it for very long, 1 day tops.
Aldactone I find hard to carb up with.
Lasix I have toyed with but never for a show because of it's unpredictability. I havent been able to get injectible lasix though and apparently thats alot easier to control.

My first show ever i did not use a diuretic but I did use Dandelion root.
It was amazing if you want to got the "natural way"
I started about 5 weeks out taking 2 pills with breakfast then 1 with each meal and 2 before bed. After a few days i bumped them all up by 1. then after a few weeks bumped it up by 1 again.
The avatar pic i have is the result. I cut my water thursday night but i did not use any other diuretic at all.
I love dandelion root :) Natures way I think is the best. i tried an other one but it sucked hard!

You know what i did them all,and even the herbal shit i did.But just a 200mg caffeine tabs and i would pee within 30min.
I take one for lunch, dinner, and one at breakfast, and i pee lots. Most people don't know that caffeine is a moderate Diuretic very powerful.
Drink a coffee and see how fast people pee after drinking Tim Hortons.
I will be using caffeine tabs for my next show again.

Aldactone was by far my best diuretic yet.
Lasix was a bastard ran into alot of trouble with that one and won't be using that again as a diur.
To be honest Next showing around I'm not going to take any diuretics and I am just going to cut out my water 24hrs b4 the show ( I intend to get the real dry and grainy look days out b4 show day. Take a mouth full after pre judge and then slurp back on some bottled baby food and also keep carbing up to prevent the flattening out.

I use Aldactone...I'm usually drier than a popcorn fart on that. And, it's potassium sparing as opposed to Lasix.

Aldactone for sure number 1
100mg ED for a week, do your standard carb load then drop your water and caboom ripped
Hydrochlorothiazide #2 if you need to make weight but still flattens you out in a hurry
Oral lasix--awful, would never touch it again
inj lasix--fantastic if you can time it right (which is nearly impossible in a bodybuilding show) but it'll kill you quick too. You'll go from looking great to shit in 40 minutes.

Aldactone inhibits the hormone Aldosterone, and this makes it very hard to re-absorb sodium and water which you will need to carb up with as carbs follow water. And if you over deplete, which many do, you will end up flat and make it hard to fill out in time when using Aldactone. Which is why I prefer Dyazide, because you should already be lean and and full then on your way to drying out, Friday night if you feel you need to dry out a tad more then you can take 1/2 a tab of Dyazide and most of the time this will do the trick.
Honestly it's a crap shoot. even with proper water manipulation and carb up one should be able to dry out nicely with out any diuretics.
Another safer way to go is Vit-C loading.
