well today I did it. Upgraded handguns to a para-ordanance 16-40 limited .40 S&W and got outfitted to shoot IPSC

firearm, 5 mags, mag blocks, mag well, fibre optic site, holster, and belt.

got a hell of a deal, however still need to buy mag holders, and knee pads.

Taking black badge course in 3 weeks and first IPSC club practice shoot is the following friday.
First competition will likely be end of May in fort mcmurray.

PUMPED!!! any other IPSC guys here?

That's a nice gun. How much does something like that cost?

Looks like a great gun. I used to shoot IPSC. 45ACP in a 1911 in the stock class. If I buy another gun, it will likely be a 40. I'm currently too lazy to reload, so I am just shooting rimfire pistol the odd time at the range or some 38's at plates outdoors. The revolvers are handy when you don't want to have to pick up brass from the mud or tall grass.

How is the transition from iron to fiber optic sights?

fibre optic is pretty cool. you basically have a lazer dot on the target....... once front sight placement is consistent with rear

Thats neat, I don't own any guns myself but I have fired a number of guns, most notably, a 303 british rifle ( thats right WW2 standard issue ) and
a 44 magnum truthfully though I prefer the 357 mag over that gun.

Its always good to do a little target practice, cuz you just never know when it might come in handy hehe.
