Hey guys, wondering if this has happened to anyone else, or possibly anyone knows the reason for this.
Im currently dieting for a show, I am just over 10 weeks out, so things are very strict. But yet for some reason I am feeling bloated 24/7. Even when i woke up this am I felt like my stomach was sticking out. Its so strange, i know i am getting leaner. And when i flex everything gets sucked in, is tight and my abs are there. But yet when im just standing still my stomach protrudes. ????

normal feeling. I get it everytime. Not sure what causes it but eventually it goes away - comes and goes, comes and goes.
I would make sure you are taking in enough fiber and if not, get a fiber supplement.

Try some digestive enzymes. Watch your soduim. Drink more water. Thats all I could think that may help.

Funny you mention that, it is the exact feeling i explained to gord the other night, he said it comes and goes and is normal....In my case i think it is because im eating more whole foods now, and less shakes...??? i added benefiber at 6 teaspoons per day spread out, made it much better...

Lol.. im going to give that a shot actually. I dont think I am getting enough fiber.. plus you and I are probably on a very similar diet ( except you get to eat more! )
See if i can suck everything in by sunday!

Part of the course.... you'll probably start getting constipated soon too...
Common causes for bloating (just read an article on this actually)
-Taking in air ( chewing gum, air in whipped shakes)
-Intake of sugar alcohols ( in most sugar free items), sorbitol, mannitol, xylitol
-Breakdown of undigested food
What has helped me in the past has been adding fibre..
The best one I have come across is Fibersmart by Renew Life ( I love their products).. If you do get constipated they also have a fantastic product called
Soft Cleanse ( I will have to double check the exact name when I get home)
Also yes, digestive enzymes or acidoliphus to add some of the good bacteria .... will definately help

I Chew Gum ALL day.. Have a whipped shake in the AM, eat sugar free stuff like its my job ( helps stop my sweet tooth ) & im lacking fiber.
Guess my options here are stop with the sugar free crap.. Or deal with the bloat for now.. Hmm..

I get it every show too, one day out of nowhere it happens.
Were in the same boat don't worry about it.
