The show is going to air on the discovery channel tonight at 1200a.m. An agent will pose as a gym owner trying to take down some of America's most dangerous, most violent, and most heinous criminals of our time. These criminals aren't murderers, child molesters, terrorists, robbers, or con artists who take millions from innocent people. They're people who are dealing in performance enhancing substances...I'm interested to see how they portray the effects on humanity.

No doubt!! I think the problem is they can't nail the guys who are dealing the hard addictive drugs so they have to please the public by throwing another sort of bust at them. I've heard more about steroid busts then any real drugs.

i think it has more to do with pharmaceutical companies being in bed with the gov't and the pressure they apply to gov't agencies to remove the underground threat stealing billions in sales from them. these FBI agents are just doing what they are told, but they are being told by seriously powerful people, with seriously powerful connections....

That makes a lot of sense too. The rich will always control North America at the end of the day.

BINGO!

Pharmaceutical companies are the ones pressuing LE to clamp down on the underground. They're 'losing' money... just like the movie industry is 'losing' money on DVD sales. They're losing theoretical money.

It's also an easier mark for these guys (LE). They're losing the 'war on drugs', so they're targeting steroid labs and dealers to make up for it.

That's my theory anyway...

How are the USA pharm companies losing money? You think they really care about steroids? How many human grade items are there.. Var, test hmmm what else? Lots of these HG items aren't even produced in North America.

The real money is in the items you see being advertised on TV. Viagra, Cialis, Lipitor, heart meds, cholesterol meds, anti depressants, etc.

Sure Pfizer will go after guys counterfeiting Viagra, but that is minor.

The real reason for this heat is from Baseball and the Olympics. World Anti-Doping Agency is one of the biggest lobbying groups against steroids. They are funded by some Governments and the Olympic committee.

Steroids were the hot topic. I think its starting to calm down now that everyone is losing their jobs and they have bigger worries then who is juicing in sports.
Sure sports/olympics has a lot to do with it as well, but the pharmaceutical companies know that a lot of the steroid labs are making and selling their pills. At least, that's the only time I've seen Viagra, Cialis, etc being offered.. before I never knew you could get legit meds any other way.. I thought all the stuff floating around on the net, etc is just fake counterfeit stuff (which it is for the most part).

What was that one bust that started as a pharmaceutical company hiring a private investigator to track down the lab owner... eventually got the FBI involved and they busted him. It was because he was selling Viagra, or Cialis.... I'm sure they didn't give a rats ass about the testosterone or winny....

It really is such a waste of time and resources...

the drug war in mexico is getting stronger each day. i fully expect the US top send troops and resources into mexico or post at the border. That drug war should take the emphasis off of steroids in the USA

Definatly belive this theory, i think the war on hard drugs is down hill, so now gear is safer, and they can make sound bad..

Hell, i saw a segment on 1000 ways to die or something, and lol, they show a guy dieing for gear.. They'll do anythng to make it look bad
