The Pitch

Have you ever wanted to represent your lifestyle choices by the clothing you wear?

Have you ever though that the current apparel targeted towards the BB'ing culture is just plain silly?

Have you ever wondered why a graphic tees sells for 19.99$ and up?

Have you ever wanted to contribute to CBB.com but haven't found the spare cash?

If you answered YES to any of those questions, the following proposal may be of interest to you.

The Dilemma


I have been hopelessy searching both retail stores and e-boutiques to try and find t-shirts which represent what I consider important aspects of the bodybuilder lifestyle.
Every shirt I found had either a ridiculous logo (ie. HARDCORE, BENCH PRESS, JACKED UP) or a some shitty ass design.
Even worse, they retailed for 20$ and up, before shipping.


I wanted a shirt that does NOT look retarded.

I wanted a shirt that I can wear both INSIDE and OUTSIDE the gym.

I wanted a shirt that the general public would purchase, but those in the know would appreciate even more.


With the help of a friend who knows his way around Photoshop, i was able to bring some of my design ideas to life.
But then the dilemma, how would I get the shirts printed for a reasonable cost?

The Solution


I found a website, www.6dollarshirts.com, which:
a) sells t-shirts for dirt cheap
b) has a submit a design contest.

The winning designs (decided by vote) get $100 store credit, and $250 cash.

Why should you vote for my shirts???

1 - I have promised MP that i will donate the 250$ cash right back into CBB.com, for EVERY design that wins.

2 - If you ask me niceley and are an active contributing member to the board, I will use that $100 store credit to order you free shirts. This depends on shipping costs, but i'm thinking at least 6 members will be eligable at a time. No you can't have the "Dunder Mifflin" shirt.

3 - You will be able to order some kickass shirts, support the BBing community, and help MP and CBB.com!!!

Today I contacted the people from the website requesting an update. The desing has 48 votes, which is more than some of the ones that have been chosen.

Hopefully we dont get gay'd out.

Will let you guys know what the deal is as soon as i hear.
