ok you definitely need to make some major chances if you want to get in shape, personally I think you need to lay off looking at the scale and work off the mirror, and judging by your pic your bf is close to 25% if not over (im not meaning to be rude, just honest) you need to train more, when you say lift what does that include? how do you lift, what bodypart are you hitting because you have no included my information, you say yoru diet is good? define what good means for me please.. you need to do cardio everyday and not only a couple days a week.. write out what you eat during the day and what your workout routine looks like and you will get more help. other then that, welcome to the board and have fun.

Your diet will be as important as your training. Start working on a meal plan for weightloss and maybe post it up here so we can comment. Welcome to cbb btw.

read the body builder training section

then the diet section

your training is all wrong, and your diet will need to be set up properly to grow muscle and lose fat

spend some time researching, but i will make one quick point.
your muscles grow post workout for days. recovery is the most important part, and this is why muscle groups are worked, and generally not touched for a week.

for instance, i train (some times not in this order)

day 1 chest
day 2 back
day 3 off
day 4 arms
day 5 shoulders
day 6 legs (generally want to puke after this day)
day 7 off

with cardio when required....7 days a week, or at least a few days a week. Every workout day has 15 min if cardio pre workout for warm up.

wadrow- for some reason my muscle respond better to training like this, I grow and gained alot of muscle of HIT training. It may should odd but i done HIT training and off since i was 17. But if i hit a platue i will switch it up to a 5 day split

Well if you are happy with the results from the manner in which you have been training, go hard bro
