I called the General Managers group today to get something looked at. This is the highest level you can get for support. I was informed that this group is no longer operating. If I want to contact the new group that has replaced them I need to write a letter and mail it to them. YES, you read correctly, mail a letter.

What kind of crap is this? I can only figure that they are doing this knowing full well only a fraction of people will take this step. Well I am going to do something. I am going to close all my business with Bell.

Being in a rural area I have limited choices but I can get Acanac to provide me with internet access and a VoIP phone. A friend of mine had this setup and said it worked great. Has anyone here had any experiences with Acanac?

The only drawback is that I can't get a local number. That means when local people call me they will be calling long distance. I figure most people have calling plans so I am not going to worry about it. Besides, the phone is there for my convenience not to convenience others.

a telecom company wants you to mail them letters... what a joke. I've always hated bell with a passion. You're making the right choice changing
