Ok...so here I am Friday night:
Just spoke to my girlfriend, who is in Cuba for 14 days with 4 of our good friends....
I am half drunk, why? Don't know...I went to visit my parents tonight for a bit, then I hit the clocktower on Bank street |(a very regular place of mine), then the Atomic Rooster, The wine bar on 4rth...and I am now home sitting here listening to:

Anyhow, I should have gone with her, but I chosed work first, than fun second--sometime late in the summer hopefuly, when things are not as busy for me
I popped a big Crown Royal tonight, and will probably polish 1 quarter of it...then bed time...anyhow, don't call me baby anymore :D :D

Sorry to hear that dude... I'm sure that kinda sucks right now... When you do make it (summer, like you said hopefully) it'll be that much sweeter, knowing you took care of your work 1st....
and... i like that 1st one alot too.... can't stand Nickelback though.... sorry... don't know what it is....

Most time, one must pick work over a life.. I cant think of a time when I picked a life over work... People have to try to make time.
Cuba, Hmmmmm , defiantly like to go somewhere tropical, and just chill for week, i think be sweet.

lol, I have a funny story about them. We (we being some guys from our football team and our ladies) were out at a bar one night that they were in after one of their concerts here in town and the singer dude kept hitting on one of the guys old ladies.
The guy was one of our lineman and a real big dude and he was getting pissed so he told the dick to get lost and the dick got all pouty and said "do you know who I am" so the lineman guy stands up and looks at him and says "yup I know exactly who you are and I dont give a ****, you say one more word to my girlfriend and we will find out that you bleed just like everyone else"
Well the dick looked like he was going to shit himself and left pretty quickly, with all of his so called crew. I wish I had a pic of the look on dick's face. I smile when ever I think of it.

Well the good thing from being apart is when you realize how much you feel for the other person. Lol at the dickelback phrase... I think didleback sounds funnier though. And suits this forum better.

"Absense makes the heart grow fonder" or some such thing.. I'm the same though, work takeing priority over life. Haveing been in a volitile industry a guy has to make hay while the sun shines, sucks though. Good choce for drinking away those blue's.

You should have went with her,family comes first for me now.I worked 55 hour a week for many years,just to see my little girl grow up to fast,so from now on i made family come first,once you do it you will feel better.Its all about Balance in life you just need to find it out for yourself.

His name is Chad Kroeger and he is a horrible musician and grade A turd. I'd have stabbed him with a Polish sword and pissed down his neck. Great story.
