Does anyone have suggestions for reducing break-outs during a cycle?

4th week on sus and I am getting some breakout...Normally I have clean skin.

Ideas?

Thanks, as always for the solid advice.

sulfer soap works for me, lots of exfoliating and drying

Uhmm. Lots of big boys in your hometown.

Agh, you got the great lake to keep your skin healthy.

But, I'll try it.

No joke, I've found that putting head-and-shoulders shampoo on breakouts helps tremendously.

I started breaking out pretty bad on my upper-back/shoulders about a week ago and after two days it's easily been cut in half, should be gone by the end of the weekend.

Dry sauna and lots of lofa scrubbing....if that does not work, then you may need to use something like accutane.

It's got Zinc pyrithione in it. Destroys pimples and pretty much all skin blemishes.

I just read they make a bodywash too, I might have to pick some of that up

In order of acne severity:

1. keep the skin clean-multiple showers daily plus clean sheets -pillow cases
2. B5 Pantothenc acid 3-5g twice daily
3. tanning couple times per week
4. benzyl peroxide cream
5. amoxicyllin/potassium clavulanate 500-125mg twice daily
6. DMSO with Q tip
7. tea tree oil with Q tip
8. Accutane

This may be too simple, but I find just washing area with hot water to open pores then using a good hand/body scrub, then immediately washing with cold water (to close the pores back up) seems to work well when done at least once upon waking and once pwo... maybe another time before bed.... alot of people don't finish process by closing pores with cold water and that allows dirt/oils/etc. to re-establish themselves and promote break-outs.....

This process (cold water last) is also best used after shaving (face/chest/ whatever :p) to prevent razor burn fyi....

Praetorian - Unreal Posts Bro...Everytime.

Thank you for the helpful tips.

Currently, I use Bio-therm- Facial Cleanser and their suggested moisturizer.

Body- I use AXE Body Wash.

Doc gave me some High Grade Pimple Cream...lol, High School!!

I'll give it a go and try some of the other suggestions made.

lol nope the commercials never lie, i use a lufa sponge and a simple olive oil base body scrub free of perfumes and such then follow it up with the axe for the chick side of things lol.

of course nutrition is a big part of clear skin.

But as far as any secrets I have....

Apple Cider Vinegar with "mother" mixed in water every day will help
MSM pills
and Aveno moisturizing bar for soap. throw away the Axe, and everything with perfume.

Man,

This a funny thread.

I have forgotten about the 4 tiny zits I had, but, that is break out to me.

Keep the this one going,

"Eat 4 omega eggs"--------Done, I'll start now. You could be right, I did eat them and I did stop an sudddenly my back grew a few feathers.

But, no, I'll do the egg thing...plus the acne isn't on my body, it, was on my neck. Yucky place to have acne.

Another big thing is just leave them alone. Too many bros start to pick at them or have their girlfriends pick at them (cuz chix love to pop pimples...it's ****ed up). and that always makes them worse.

Leave them alone, exfoliate with a poof (lufa) but make sure you get a manly black one. No faggy purple ones boys. And go for a couple of tanning sessions a week and you're fine.

For facial break out I use a salicylic acid based cleanser followed by a light benzoyl peroxide solution.

This recipe works wonders.

For the body I don't do anything as the break-outs I get are not of a big significance.

My arms are a mess this year. I've got it mostly under control but it will be May before they look like they weren't in a fight with a cat.

Any thoughts on fading the discoloration faster. I've been exfoliating to keep the skin turnover pretty high and it helps but it would be nice if there was a faster way to even the skin tone.

I've been eating 4 omega eggs day too. I'm also not breaking out, well the odd one per week. Thing is i've had a few shoulder ones that i've squeezed the crap out and they don't heal much. So my shoulders have a few red spots, damm it looks ugly.
As for the eggs I take gram amounts of DHA/EPA not just omega 3 in the form of fish oils so who knows about the egg theory. I'm also starting tren ace today so I've got accutane at the ready.

Plus my 4L water and washing face twice a day with high zit cream,

Should do it.

My doc said, 1000mg of Vitamin C daily can cause breakouts.

I strated using it agian last week and then came the break out,

just did some research... couldn't find anything that indicated or suggested vitamin c could cause zits. most everything i read actually said the exact opposite, that it helps clear skin.

all i can think of is that it aids in clearing out the body, and perhaps the breakouts are just a side effect from the body clearing toxins...
