This means it's going to be great for software companies that write encryption programs. They are going to make a killing. Encrypt your hard drive and no one can get to it. If the gov't forces US encryption software to open it to them, a company overseas will eventually make one for us all. Thank God the US gov't doesn't control the whole world.
