Saline solution...

Curious as to why as well. Are you trying to re-hydrate yourself? That be the only reason I would do it.

What do you need saline for?

You can get it at any medical supply store.

I have a weigh-in about 24 hour out from Strongman Comp (winner take home a ASC pro card). The cut-off weight is 231.4lb (105kg) I'm sitting at just over 250 ~3wks out. I've dropped substantial amounts of water in the past but this time around I'm much bigger and leaner then previous years. There is no question whether or not I will make weight... Its a matter of rehydrating within the alotted amount of time and preforming at a "pro" level the next day, without tearing connective tissue. Basically I'm trying to cover all bases.

Yup they do and the number of them that make a real living from being a "pro" BB'er or Strongman is very few. Sometimes the risk is not worth the reward but then I again I see ****in kids shooting insulin to try and get over 200lbs so I guess an IV rig for someone trying to hit a pro card isn't as bad comparitively.

i knew a girl who volunteered for work experience at a hospital, and would go get saline drips to cure her hangovers.... **** was she ever a wierdo

Not sure if I'm gonna go thru with it, really the logistics of this whole saline operation are a ton of added stress. Is all adds up, plus there will be no one there to show me how to rig it up (as of right now).

This is kinda like exploring all the avenues and saline is by far the BEST way to rehydrate, with tha added bonus of not bloating. A little birdy told me that 2-3bags of saline, gatorade and plenty meat lovers pizza will do you good.
