Yes... I have a great trick! I just started my test about 5 weeks ago.. and i put some some fast serious mass.. YEs mostly water. I had stopped doing test for about 2 years because I hated the puffy look, and knew how crazy it effected me. Anyways I am dieting for a comp, and when I started my diet, 2 or 3 weeks into my test I dropped 11lbs within a week!
I am eating Broccoli & asperagus & cucember @ least 2 times a day sometimes 3. They all have fat burning qualities to them and the Aseragus acts as a dieretic. I couldnt belive my eyes the fast transforation I had done from puffy back to veigny in a week!
Good luck dude!

Do Some research before you post false info:
Are there any foods that burn body fat? If yes, how is it possible? It should be possible to lose weight by simply eating such foods. What are these foods?
The fat burning foods are foods that burn more calories than the calorie content of the foods itself. There are certain foods which actually burn more fat than the calorie content of the food itself. These fat burning foods or so called negative calorie foods are natural plant foods.
Fruits rich in vitamin C like limes, lemons, oranges, grapefruit and tangerines have fat burning properties. Some of the other fat burning foods are asparagus, beet root, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, apple, blueberries, and watermelon. It you eat these fat burning foods and do some exercise, it will boost your metabolism and burn calories at a faster rate for several hours even after exercise.

here we go again. Higher metabolism and burning calories is NOT the same as "burning fat" which you specifically said broccoli and asparagus have fat burning qualities to them.
If you are dieting for a show I sure as hell hope you do not have apples, carrots, beet root, blueberries and watermelon in your diet. If you do, tell me which show so I can show up and giggle at you in your trunks...

Help you burn fat is what I meant. And i only eat asperagus and broccoli.
Dude if you wanna shed a little water find some dandelion root from a supplement store and take that over 2 days. During those 2 days you water and sodium deplete. 1st day drink only 2 litres liquid. Then next day only 1 litre. Third day you'll be dry as a bone.

They don't specifically help you burn fat. Let's not lie here ok? Foods in general won't help you directly burn fat. They setup the conditions to help you burn calories - both protein, muscle glycogen (carbs) and fats - along with weight training and cardio.

i would say that a food that burns more calories to digest, then the calorie content of the ingested amount, could be called fat burning foods.... Ingesting these foods put you into a calorie deficient state, albeit it very minimal.
Not worth noting, nor is it worth counting on for fat loss.
The diuretic traits of these foods interest me though

I have always found that watermelon and cucumbers help. I once ate half a watermelon over a couple hours. It seemed like I was pissing constantly for the next 12 hours. I suspect any food with a high water content will help.

Actually ALL foods are "thermogenic" because the body must use energy to digest them. This is known as the "thermic effect of food" (TEF)
This does not mean that they actually burn fat, it means they require calories to be digested. The food with the highest TEF is actually lean protein. Green vegetables such as broccholi and asparagus require more calories to be digested then they provide thus a caloric deficit. Using calories for digestion does not equate to burning fat so to say "fat burning food" is quite misleading.
As for the water reduction part heres whats required:
Make sure prior to the date when you need to be dry you are intaking a relatively moderate amount of water and sodium. The only time you will reduce sodium is 24 hours prior to the date. Reducing or cutting sodium anytime before this will lead to additional water retention and flat muscles. This is because when you reduce sodium the body has a time lapse where it senses a depletion in electrolytes in the blood and tries to fix this by increasing the hormone aldosterone. You have a limited window here so dont blow it....24 hours no more. Also a big mistake is tapering water intake. Again, the body senses a lowered amount of water coming in and will attempt to fix this by reabsorbing sodium and water...hence water retention. The best way is to stop water cold turkey early evening the day before the event. Also remember to reintroduce sodium the day of the event to keep you full and hard.
Just a few points...when people start dieting they inevitably drop their carb intake...this leads to a drop in bodyweight which is basically water. It is not the vegetables etc they are eating but the reduction in glycogen that this weight loss is attributable to. Some vegetables do have a limited diuretic like effect but I wouldnt rely on that for dropping water.

I have to agree with Natenator, the food itself does not BURN extra fat, it just takes more energy to digest the food than energy you acquire from the food because of the high water content. It would be like me drinking water or any other 0 calorie beverage , 0 calories but it takes work to drink it...pouring, raising the glass...etc...you wouldn't call these fat burning drinks would you? Unless of course it was a thermogenic drink like tea, but that's a different story
