:oIm now a tad under 12 weeks out, i will put up some pics most likely this wknd or next....
Weighed in at 238 last nite, i am going up in weight while getting quite a lot leaner....i was 229 a couple weeks ago, but diet has changed in last 2 weeks, as well as supplementation regiment..My coach is happy to see im drier and heavier..
6 foot tall hasnt changed...lol..
started off at 260 this end of January...
Cardio is 40 mins 4 times per week right now..

Diet is carb-cycling right now at 4 days lower carbs @ 175 grams per day, medium fats around 100 grams per day and protein at about 350-400 grams per day.
High carbs is one day following the 4 lower days, about 300 or so grams of carbs, 80 grams of fats, and 300 grms of protein....
working out 3 days on, 1 day off and repeat.hitting each bodypart 2 times per week.....
1 cheat meal on saturday night, sometimes it lasts for a couple-few hours....

Things are going extremely well at this point according to my trainer, i hate feeling small and flat, but the high carb days make up for it...
Begin posing practice next sunday and i need a lot of help, but im not worried, YET...

thats it...lol...
gained 8 lbs, i was 246 when i went to bed, about 48 hours later i was all lean again...lol..Man i sweat like a hog as soon as i eat that crap and my whole bodytemp does a big jump...i piss like a racehorse for 2 days....
then back strict again...its like coming off of crack (i never tried crack) but i would imagine....i almost wonder if the pain is worth it....:D

Glad your diet is going well,my diet is going well just no carb since i sit on my ass all day and log on to the site.My cardio is at 1 hour per session 4 times a week,was at 5 times a week just to hard on my body,but once i start up the gh again my joints will be perfect then i will hit the cardio 2 hours per day late next week.Great thread nice to hear that i'm not alone doing my diet it helps to see someone else going through the same pain as me.

Sounds like you are right on track for your comp, saw your pics on FB.. you and CC are both looking jacked. glad to hear things are going better for you on this run with out the distractions of travel and moving from previous.Good job freaky.

still crappy camera, but better pics, imo...anyway you can kind of see the vascularity a tad more, but im getting freakin, deakin..lol..lower abs, shouklders triceps etc...still more fat to go, but 10 weeks out....ive taken the advice on other thread and upped my dose a tad, feeling full and good...so far....cardio is up a tad and losing the cheat day soon...real soon..

My only suggestion would be on the ab and thigh to not hold your breath. When we breath out we tighten up.

Try it in front of a mirror. Flex and hold your breath. Then flex and slowly let the air out while tightening and shrinking/sucking in the abdomen (i know poor explanation).

But BIG difference for sure. Your arms are look great man. Thick forearms. I wonder why>??!?!?!

Thanks for the feedback guys....You are correct, CC actually got her ab pose way improved by doing exactly that as you described....She was coached last wknd and wow what a difference...I hope they get better as i go, im beginning to practice all the time now....More flab to go but it is coming along....ill keep updating here with new pics...

I have gone back to dc trng only, 2 on, 1 off...i was losing so much size doing high volume and 6 days per week trng, my mind wasnt on task anymore, just floated through the motions...Now i am energized and actually making some strength gains again...
Cardio is 40-50 minutes, 4-5 times per week..
supplements used are gh 3 ius /day, test @ 750 mgs per week, switching to prop soon, anavar @ 40 mgs /day....
I am going to add in fat burners and 25 mcgs of T-3 @ 8 weeks out, then some clen @ 6 weeks out and i believe i should make some better progress at that time.....I have not run any fat burners or clen, or T-3 before, so im looking forward to the ride....
Diet is still around 2900 calories per day and carb cycling 4 low @ 150-175 gramsand 1 high @ 300 grams, lower fat intake not exactly sure but will add in number when i know..

The lighting made a big difference. Not sure if you're looking for tips with posing but one that really helped me is to start every pose by flexing the legs first. Sometimes people will focus too much on their upper body and forget to flex their legs so I always make sure I start at the bottom and build the pose from there. Good work so far.

posing should be very smooth and not forced, it actually takes a lot of rhythm and muscle control to do it properly, its actually very rare to see good posers now a days especially when you have to sync it to the music.. if you search on youtube for Posing ABC's from Bob Cicherillo ... you can get some general tips.. what would be even cooler is if you posted a video of our mandatory poses then we can dissect each and every pose and give proper tips..

i dropped my carbs a bit from what my trainer had me eating....I am down to 100 grams or so most days and plant o keep doing that until i really, really need some extra carbs...No more cheat meals, its a sad day today...upping protein to replace carbs...
8 weeks out and believe ill be in the 220s for showtime.....

I was with Hernon up until 12 weeks out, then i picked up a local trainer here...I am doing my own workouts and supp regiment...He is keeping an eye on me and my diet up until the show...I just use dc trng because i find it works best for me...
Carb-cycling up to the show, then doing a skipload, or shitload technique 4 days out and going in like that...If it doesnt work out, then ill do something different next time...lol

I probably have 12-15 to lose for stage presence...He was just saying 8 lbs of flab and water and ill look better, less crap on lower back and lower belly...
im 232 and thinking 220ish for stage...

Tons of time to work with. I'm interested to see what your legs look like. Make sure you turn your hands in (supinate) during the bicep shots. Will make your biceps stand out a lot more. Great work so far.

New pics at 6.5 weeks out coming tonite...more posing and a quick workout....recovering from a major flu and vertigo from hjhell the past 3 days...i went to the gym yesterday while dizzy and recovering...I cant stop now, it kills me to think avbout going backwards at this point...great way to dry out is by puking and not eating....lol...Still weighing in at 232-234 naked in the am, getting tight and weight is static, kind of a good feeling, i stopped paying attention to numbers and go by look in the mirror and measurements now...

Bis = 19.5 cold, quads are 28.5 cold, waist is around 33 inches i believe and chest i havent measured in awhile, somewhere around 49 or so i believe...
ill see how i look in pics tonite, but will post good or bad.....i can take it..lol..

Ya i'm up to 1 hour 4-5 days a week,some days i go for 1 1/2 hour a day.All we can do is try our best if it was easy most people would compete.This is one tough sport i can't wait until this diet is over.I'm sure your next pics you will be leaner.

One thing I noticed when you are flexing your bi's is your hand position. When flexing your arms if try and rotate your pinky towards your back you will get a much bigger and more defined 'peak'. In the front doublt I don't want to see the front of your fingers (the whole time, I do understand that having your fingers forward accentuates your forearms more).

Try it for the camera, see if you like it. Again, you want to rotate your first, pinky towards the thumb (see towards your back). Your pinky will actually end up above your bicep in a closed fist (or close too).

I agree with yopu totally, my trainer said to bring my hands forward to make the bi longer and fill in the gap between my bi ending and the base of the forearm...I dont like the way it looks either...Im going to do as you said next pics...
The flu or whatever the hell it was has finally broken and i feel like a new man again...finally, I missed 4 workouts last week, and decided to take these untrained and feeling like poop after some cardio...
Im going to try and get a bit of a pump next pics and take some in the gym for a change of pace...this saturday...

what is the best setting on a cam...640x480, or 1024x768, or what???
or does it make a difference?

Just a little advice, when ypu do your ab pose, keep your hip and one leg back and one leg foward (flexed) and then flex your abs. That pic looks like you're trying to show us your pee pee... :P Hips back man...

Also, try keeping your heels closer together on your front bi's and lat spread.

BTW, you look great.

its appreciated bro....we can annoy each other, but at the end of the day, we all come around...this is tough stuff we do....and we can sometimes get all alpha ....but in the end we always end up learning something from each other along the way....at some point or another....

well, i am in sioux city, iowa, southdakota, nebraska right now for work....the food intake sucked big time on monday as i missed my flight ticket pick up by 4 minutes and had to wait in the airport for 7 hours for next flight, then a 3 hour layover in minnesota and all my protein etc was checked.....damn...
held some water after flights and was lucky to find a great gym right beside my hotel...had to get special food orders for lunches and suppers...man these guys are getting great godamn food, cakes, pies, perkins pies and cheesecakes etc...but im a trooper and watched them eat while i sipped my protein, oatmeal, olive oil shake....
im back on friday and will post pics saturday...I am dropping fat fast now, at a real fast rate, im still in 230 range, but vascular as old hell, my quads are getting maplike...upper is always vascular, although it doesnt show well in pics...I am hoping to line up a good camera to get pics this wknd...ill ask my trainer to take some at posing practice..
still plugging away, but it isnt easy on the road in the final 4.5 weks..
i have a 7 hour layover on my way home in minneapolis so that should be intersting again....
takes 11-12 hors to get back home from here...and ill be holding water again for a day, then ill be back to normal and i am taking the last week off work for final prep...
we are now finally registered etc, so now to get some trunks, and there is no turning back now....not that i thought i would, but it does cross your mind on 1 or 2 occasions..

BTW, ill try and do real poses for next pix, i dont care about true posing for these pics up to now, just piss around pics, but next ones will be in form...
i may even do a quick spray tan for shits and giggles...and wear rolling stones underwear for a treat for you all, or maybe pull ot the oldest gotch i have, all ripped etc, CC better not chuck them while im gone...nothing like a great old pair of goch to make you feel free....lol

crappy pics, after arriving from 13 hours in airport and flying, week away from home and routine and lack of sleep...and put my protein and oats etc in my checked luggage like a dork...anyway,(sorry for excuses, having one of those days) i am doing a higher carb day today and a medium carb shitload day tomorrow, then i should look my best on wed evening, or thursday...this is my check week to see exactly where im going to load up, as far as days out.
I should feel great tomorrow, we are heading out on the hogs today and that always perks me up...the sun killed some details in my calves etc, but they are nice and veiny and coming in better than i expected..
the avi pic is my lat spread, im noticing thick lower lats and low insertions, which will look better in the coming yrs...im happy with what i am seeing...may not be that great this yr, but i can make some improvements over the next yr, now i lost the fat and know what i have...even if i come in last, this is the leanest ive ever been and now have set some new goals for myself...so ive already beat some pr's, and a new challenge to keep me inspired in the gym again..

holding a few lbs of water...I had my est day last wed 3.5 days after a loadup....This log will come in handy for next yr prep to look back on...so please dont pay to much attention to my rambling of events...
i expect to be 221 by next wed/thursday and fairly diced...
now i start tanning every other day or so, i am not a big fan of this part...
cardio will be 50 minutes 6 days/week from here on out...No more cheat days just deplete for 4 weeks...and hope for the best...

24 hours after last pics....now 3 weeks of depletion to bring in abs, lower back and legs....cant wait...lol
500 grams of carbs, crappy sugary goodness....now by wed/thursday i should look my best for this fat level, then suck down and deplete for the next 3 weeks straight, maybe one more medium clean load and thats about it....very low carbs as long as i can take it, and lower, but not to low fats, and high protein...lots of cardio and suffering to get the last bit of fat off...i dont expect miracles for my legs being lean, but i cant do much now....just giver..

Iron bro, as I said from the beginning in your thread, your upper does not seem to be much issue, it is your lower body bro.
Your last shots:

Get on that leg press and press until you bleed...lounge until you can't no more....hit that squad machine and give it a good squeeze at the top---flex those quads and butt muscles tight!!
Hit those hams strings longer and harder...go go go!!!!
I specially love the side chest shots, the side shoulder/tric shots!! very nice!!

You have 4 weeks left? trim trim trim!!

U betcha...im trying to do my best with what i can muster along with my crazy busy schedule....my legs are what they are, ill bust my ass to seperate them as much as possible, but i broke my back and have only trnd seriously with them and back for a few months up until cutting time, otherwise almost 2 yrs of nothing but extensions....Otherwise i couldnt feel lower body for a week or so...It is my focus for the rest of prep, and all of next yr....
Thanks for the feedback, its what keeps me going honestly.....I dont want to dissappoint anyone and will be a busy man from here on in...Not like i havent been up to now....4 weeks and ill be ready....Im fairly confident...Its a great experience on many levels i tell ya....
more pics to follow thursday, shoukld be betrter, these are after a 500 plus gram of sugary processed foods day and flying and airporting it for 18hours one day, and 13 hours a couple days later...
i look quite lean this am....tomorrow will be better etc...

Your front double-bi is my fav pose by far. And remember to breath and look like you are having fun. Forcing your poses or making them 'look/appear' difficult isn't what judges want to see.

And not sure if it's me or the camera or if it is you. But on both your front and rear lat spreads you appear to be leaning back. You have great lower lats but when you lean back it makes it hard to see them.

Remember to flex your calves on your rear lat pose as well. On your rear double bi your calves look great, but it looks like you let them relax a bit on your rear lat spread.

Lookin' great though man, cannot wait to see the final product.

Thanks a lot guys...it means a lot....i am still working on my posing....and have more to do...great input....i appreciate it....am i wrong or in the rear lat spread, arent you supposed to lean back a tad because the judges are below you when on stage.....Definitely agree that my front one needs to come forward...
About 4-5 mor lbs of fat to drop and then a whack of water, iom getting confident ill be ready now....Legs are way tighter, i couldnt hardly flex them as i was soooo stiff from a heavy day the day before and an hour of cardio just before posing here...They wont be dialed right in im sure, but they should be ok come showtime...

well....3 weeks out finally.....the next 2 weeks are gonna be hectic and then the last week will be laid back and hoping for the best...
Went to aladdins gym and saw SD and alladin and they gave me some good posing help now practice, practice, and more.....It was great, sweated my balls off and then had a wicked aladdin shake....
Now just giver for a few more days here and then get ready to have a good summer and grow..
