What does a grey box mean in your "User CP"?

If you have a grey box in your User CP or Points/Rep area what does that mean? Did someone flame? Isnt flaming a red box? Im confused...

I beleive the gray is from someone who doesn't have enough post's to give green. They mean well but you end up with a grey box. I could well be wrong, but that's how it looks to me..

Joking. It means the person who gave you a rep hit doesn't have enough to affect you in any way. They either need someone to give them some first or they need more posts. Your reputation hitting strength depends on how much reputation you get in return AND how many post you have.

Thanks. I think you have more karma power too. Does it depend on the amount of karma a person has, how much they've given out vs. recieved, their post count? I've always wondered.

By the time those who gave you rep, that did nt have enough power to give green...get enough power to give green, the CP screen shot, will have turned the gray boxes out.

There are numbers I plug in to give reputation. If you see a good post and want to say thanks, give the user some green. The more you get the more power you'll have to give or take away. After x amounts of posts, your reputation power gets stronger too so you can hit or take away more. If you want to see the all time leaders, hit member list and click on the reputation column link to sort the list my highest member reputation. Pinhead is not number one. Yet.

I knew pinhead had a lot, but I didn't figure he'd pass Mr. O. Whenever I give reps I always leave a little comment and my tag so they know who approves of their post. I've got 5 or 6 that the comments section is just blank.
