Currently im doing a moderate carb diet, one cheat meal a week
Basically: 40g whey/50g oatmeal/1tbs PB
And replace whey with chicken/steak/tuna(wmayo), and 1 cup rawbrocooli for 2-3 meals of the day
No carbs after 6pm
My question regards sleeping in on weekends, and napping. I've read that eating carbs before sleep is not ideal. If I plan on napping say at 1pm, what should my pre-nap meal consist of? Just protein and fat? Should i wait an hour after eating before napping? Can I go back to eating carbs from 2:30pm to 6pm?
Also, on the weekend, I wake up around 8am, piss and eat, then go back to bed until 10-11am. My question, should I eat carbs with that first meal if I plan on going back to sleep right after? Recently I've just been having a protein shake and dozing off again, but im not sure that’s optimal.
Any input is appreciated.
