When I do calf raises My feet start to slide off the foot plate and the heavier and more reps I do the more I'm on my toes and at a leverage disadvantage, any tips?

try to stay on the balls of your feet. or you can bend your knees slightly to keep front leverage on when ur fully stretched.

Get some shoes with some grip...lol

but seriously, if you have to reset your feet then by all means do it. make sure you're getting full range. Meaning really deep stretch at the bottom and extreme ballerina like toe pointing at the top. watch the knee bends if possible straight legged works the gastroc better and bent hits the soleos more.

just make sure that your not extending ur knees at all, they can be bent to keep forward pressure, but u have to stay very focused on both the knees and the calfs now. and don't be afraid to reset if you have to.

Try going in your socks only and take the shoes off. That is the old school way.

feet should be far enough forward to not slip off, but not too far that r.o.m. is compromised.
if that fails, you have bad shoes and time for new ones lol

I actually have this problem quite often as well with standing calf raises... I think i just need new shoes, but I'm pretty sure I just need to slide my feet up a bit further, idk.... repost when you find something that works... i would be interested in knowing too (before I blow cash on new shoes lol)

My shoes are pretty new but they are cross trainers, so the grip is a little more durable, what I have been doing is reseting my feet, I tried bending my knees but for some reason it put serious pressure on my back, that was three days ago and my back is still out. thanks for everyones advices.
