Okay - gota question here-
- is insulin a tested substance?

-if not is it widely used/abused via athletes for recovery purposes? Insulin is such a ****ing huge factor with respect to glycogen synthesis and recovery that it would seem very advantageous to athlete in season or during a training camp to use slin especially if not beong tested for it.

Regardless, just looking for some oppinions here with respect to weather or not its used under the radar - because its efficacy is undeniable ... lets here it

There is no test for insulin at the moment...mainly due to its inherent pulsatile nature. It is widely used in sports as a performance enhancement with HGH, creatine, and oral aas.

"Insulin, a potentially performance enhancing agent, is prohibited for non-diabetic athletes according to the WADA list of banned substances since 1999. Despite the already existing methods for the mass spectrometric determination of the chemically modified synthetic insulin analogues in regular doping control samples, an approach to uncover the misuse of recombinant human insulin is missing."
