I'm in Canada and this confuses me.
I thought Creatine Monohydrate didn't have any calories.
How can something be labelled 100% pure Creatine Monohydrate and have no other ingredients listed but have calories?
How can something be labelled 100% pure Creatine Monohydrate and have no other ingredients listed but say is has a vegetarian formula (or worse, have a warning about wheat allergy)?

Weird, I just check the "Nutrition Facts" on my Allmax Monohydrate and it does not list a caloric value, it also says 100% Pure. I also don't recall seeing calories listed on any of the other brands I have purchased, care to share which brand you are talking about?

I am not sure if it falls into the type of packageing that needs a caloric label. I dont think it has any calories anyways. Fat/Protein/Carbs/Alcohol have calories. I dont think there are ANY of those in 100% pure creatine mono.

That is why I feel scammed.
The label says it has calories but no other ingredients are listed.
I don't even think I got what I thought I was paying for.
http://www.creatinedepot.com
It says "Distributed by: Hos-Style Fitness Industries"
"Product of Canada"

it's created in the body from arginine, glycine and methionine...but i don't think it can be metabolized by humans as an energy source. It has nitrogen in it so it could possibly test out to have calories from that (via crude analysis) ? does it have sugar added or something?
i wouldn't worry too much about it really
try it and see how it goes
why would u be upset in creatine with calories, you're supposed to have it alongside high GI carbs so that its shuttled into your cells more efficiently

They probably ****ed up on the label. Pro circuit used to have labels where they mixed up numbers. Or like legaliz3 said there is simple carbs in it, which is a good thing.

If there were sugars in the supplement, it would be labeled. Dont worry about it! Take you 5-10 grams after training, with protein/carb shake....

I paid for 1kg of pure Creatine so I can add my own dextrose.
If it is pre-mixed then it is not 100% pure in my book.
Plus it doesn't say WHAT makes up the calories and I am a bit paranoid. :-)
