View Full Version : Do you hide your Steroid use from your significant other?
Just curious. My wife does not know, and I am not sure what I'd tell her if she found my stash lol. I thought maybe I'd tell her that I was on HRT, but she'd probably wonder why I need such a huge stash of so many different things.

Don't have an issue....don't live with anyone...and not attached. Whew...that was easy
My old lady knows.But you can always talk about how some guy in the guy just started training and is bigger and stronger than you in only 8 months,and you were thinking about taking if it was cool with her.

I have a gf who is seeing signs in the guy she is with. I am not going to be the one who clues her in.
But an abscess in one delt is not a muscle problem? Damn it's like a rock in his delts. And they don't travel to one delt one week and the other one the next week because he trained one shoulder harder then the past week.
Do these women miss clues?

I broke up with my girl right before my cycle started ( 6 weeks ago) then we started hangin out again over the last couple weeks.
She is so clueless she says that I sure musta been training hard over th month I didn't see her.
The best was the other night in bed shes like " feels like theres a really bad mosquito bite on your butt cheek"... I laughed hard then agreed it was a mosquito bite.
alot of my friends do know.. and soon as she asks ill tell the truth.. I plan on making AAS a big part of my life lol.. not going to hide it forever

Yeah we both told each other about our usage the first night we were together. It seriously makes life so much easier to have a girl that understands why I use.

I don't understand why you would hide it from your significant other? Best be out in the open about it with her. And if she doesn't approve and wants you to drop your hobby, dump her.

Mine knows too we had broken up for about a month and were not talking. A buddy did my first 2 pins and then was busy one day and couldnt make it over so i called her up and we have been back together ever since. AAS saved my relationship!!!!! lmao

I hid it or tried too till one day she came in to jump in the shower with me and there i was with a pin in my delt lmao...TALK ABOUT AWKWARD....anyway after the initial what is it and i told her she just said well as long as the needles are clean i dont care its your body....then she said that if i needed help she wol pin me...her being in the medical feild i took the help......she does a way better job at it then i do

Its pretty surprising how open you guys are. Just be careful when they turn on you and use it against you; soon everyone and their mother will know about it.

I hide it myself cause i got a young son around and the wife is right against pinning she thinks i take vanadyl sulfate creatine and weight gainer while eating like mad that gets the size what she doesnt know wont hurt her.

Hidding the use of anabolics to your significant other? Ok so not such a big crime, but from the interm why hide anything to her or him.
Having said that, if you are willing to hide something as critical as it is the use of anabolics (that sure for many of us, is like drinking a glass of water) what else are you willing to conceal from your other? An open ended question nontheless.
What triggers people into hidding from others is often insecurity of acceptance. Will she/he make judgements? Will she/he reject me or reject my practices? How does sociaty see my intake of anabolics? How is it percieved?
In the end my personal advise is this: Educate!
If you educate a person on how anabolics work (that it isnot a drug that will make you angry, or a drug that will give you cancer, or sociologically speaking a negative addictive drug) and teach the person, that YOU as a user KNOW what you are doing, that YOU as a user have done your research. How does IT work? What are the effects>? How does it enhance your life?
I have been on both side of the schtick in my times, and i have learned that being up front, being honest is always best....yes it does make me sleep better at night.
I think disclosing this info also depends on the length of the relationship: is this person here to stay, or is she/he temporary?
Humm....very interesting topic for sure...it is not black and white hu fellas...and ladies.

I agree. And this is the point i was trying to make before. But in general, true girlfriends/friends (who arent into building) only want whats best for you and are looking out for your interests. Hence the negative feedback.

Thats a really good idea, Rent bigger stronger faster and see what her reaction is to it, if she seems like its no big deal, then give yourself a few weeks and tell her youre taking testosterone. It better her knowing about it, then you getting caught

igot 3 yers in witghout her knowing ,then when we split she finds my stash while were packing,of course that gets the blame for our relationship probs,point is sooner or later you get caught,its a big part of our lifestyle,if they dont accept it they dont accept us,just make sure its long term b4 you open up

I have to admit that I hide it from my wife. Problem is she does my shots, so as far as she thinks I'm on mega dosages of different forms of B12 hidden in bottles of Test Ent, Equipose, lol.
Seriously I'm lucky she's cool and that fact I look better is just bonus in her books. Never hid it when I dated, hiding it is so going to bite you in the ass later.

My GF figured it out due to her using LipoEX. We were running out and she wanted to order more so she picked up the Bottle from the shelf and googled it..
She arrived here, poked around abit and found my Avator. "Which is a pic of one of our pets"
lol... She's not openly stated that she's aware nor have I yet it's understood that it's going on and she's fine with it. I let her manage our finances (been living together for a few years and getting married soon). On a monthly basis she asks me how much money I require in order to maintain/continue growing.. lol...

My wife knows. She thought it irresponsible at first but I assured her I knew what I was doing. I am on HRT as well so getting regular blood tests helped persuade her. If I was only dating I do not think I would be open about my use.

I don't tell anyone, not even my new wife. I keep everything out of the house as well to minimize discovery from her or the young child.
This is part of my own "personal" health regiem and self improvement and I keep it private. I put it on the same level as something like Masons, if I was in the craft I would not be running around telling everyone the secret rituals or handshakes. You don't have to share everything with your significant other especially if there is a possibility of it causing grief or harm to the relationship all for the sake of being open and honest.

Ex's lawyers will just *LOVE* to hear all about how you are a "roid raging junky". You have to remember what the public's (and thus the courts) perception of steroids are. It doesn't matter that we all know they can be used responsibly. If the marriage goes south, you'd better believe she will bring this up. You stand to lose everything then. Got kids? Want to see them again? You could be branded a menace, a drug user, etc by her lawyer in court.
that's exactly what I'd be afraid of.

MOST relationships end, and so do a lot of marriages. If you think that she won't use your illegal steroid use against you, you are delusional. This is especially true if custody of children becomes an issue, nothing will be off limits. Discretion is ALWAYS the best policy.

I 100% hide my use, I will come clean if we get engaged or get married as I won't want to keep secrets at that point. but right now here are my reasons:
1) to protect training partners and friends, guys who use and don't use. Some of those guys run a business, some of them hide it, some of them don't care, and a lot of them are clean and someone running around saying they're on steroids without proof could seriously hurt their rep. But me telling my gf, then we break up and she runs around running her mouth... well my boys don't deserve that.
2) I don't need this coming back to me in a work setting...
3) I would never ever win an argument again, or have my opinion heard... it will always be "you're roid raging!"
4) Is she going to give me shit about the money I spend on it? I work to live, and lift... and thinking of the next cycle I'm going to buy is a really powerful motivator for me at work.
5) This shit is illegal!
That's about it, I love my girl and couldn't imagine loving anyone else ever... but shit happens and until we're married I'm not taking chances.
